Shades of Charlottesville... he is appealing to a smaller and smaller base with a hatefully wrong message...
I'd think you'd be respecting a large portion of the military by not having bases named after men that betrayed their country and fought for the idea of slavery.
Special guest appearance by lyin' ted... he is so lost in the argument he tweets out dan bongino's testimony...
It is amazing to me that a 70 year old with declining mental abilities trolled his way into the Whitehouse and has some how remained in power for 4 years with a better than 50% chance of being re-elected. Trump’s troll skill level is out of this world. He is a 70 year old version of some fat kid with erectile disfunction spending all day in his parents basement while his girlfriend works to pay his bills.
Yes for a variety of reasons. First, he is an incumbent and the only two incumbents have lost over the last 60 years or so. Carter lost to Reagan and Bush Sr. lost to Clinton, the two most influential and powerful Presidents over the last 60 years. Second, Trump does not need the popular vote. Yes he election is likely going to come down to a handful of states in the Midwest that are socially conservative. The President has the funding (nearly a billion dollars) to go hard in those areas and those areas are socially pre disposed to support him. Third, he will do anything, regardless of how immoral or illegal, to be re-elected. That means he will attempt to limit voting, distort or work on making it impossible for voting in black areas. Fourth, he has good political instincts. Right now he is behind after a horrific last 3 months for him. He has dealt with COVID, race riots and impeachment. Yet he isn’t very far behind in those states he needs to win. I have zero doubt Trump loses the popular vote again; but I can see him winning the Rust Belt or Midwest.
Still in the grips of a global pandemic where over 2 million Americans were infected and 113,000 and counting Americans have dies. And in the first recession since 2007. With double digit unemployment. And civil unrest exasperated by the police murdering a black man they arrested and the gassing of Americans in order to take a political photo op. And... this is what trump tweets out...
Ugh April 22, 2020 - 11:59 AM EDT Trump Organization seeks bailout money from UK and Ireland https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...ation-seeks-bailout-money-from-uk-and-ireland Apples and Oranges. Bailouts are bailouts. Twists on words Trump tweets again.
Sad but true... and if by chance he does lose both the EC and Pop Vote he's likely to cry fake news/voter fraud and contest the election.
It's the only thing he offers...these platitudes to his white base to get them riled up. Do as I say, not as I do... Hell, we already had one dude come in here, not a normal D&D poster, that posted the same thing along with quoting 1984. I imagine he thinks himself quite intelligent with that post since it shows he read a book
