    Are you serious?

    Trump loves him some Confederacy.

If you are honestly asking why ? Well there is the political reason as he receives strong support from racists. The second reason is that he has a history of racism.

These are the geniuses on the streets of Raleigh, NC. I will say nothing about Duke students.

    Ciccarelli?

So the guy that is so devastated that he won’t race has the last name Ciccarelli? He has the most Italian name possible.

Is he so stupid to not know that not long ago his folks were not considered white? They are called Guinea’s after the “Guinea negro”.

The good news is 30% of them will be dead from old age in a decade. The bad news is 70% will not.

I am sure they all are regular readers of Townhall.com and the Epoch Times.

I was amused that there are 5 masks and zero black people in that picture.

Yes... I looked through the faces... it was what I would expect the audience for a Trump rally to look like. You can pick out the handful with mental illness and the rest are in bed right after the 8 pm episode of Walker Texas Ranger airs.

This is like gay marriage in that enough old people die and minds are changed that it reaches a tipping point and that is what has happened. These large companies and entities have professionals read the tea leaves and they go with what will help them survive long term.

For all the complaints about BLM being too radical or that the rioting and looting and protests would not work... It has worked better than anything else has in over 50 years.

The riots and protests and yes the looting, forced the USA to take a position, if for no other reason it dominated public discourse for nearly two weeks.

The world isn’t magically better, but we are seeing lines drawn in the sand by the public and by business and decision makers.

Just to be clear, I am not saying the looters were BLM members.

Floyd’s murder seems to have been the last straw for a lot of people.

For me as a whiteboy, you're damn right. I'm embarrassed that it took me this long to get this pissed off.

It's not so weird because it doesn't have anything to do with ancestry. We know what's meant by the rallying cry "the South will rise again." We know what that war was about. Celebrating these symbols isn't a geographical thing, it's an ideological one. It's a racist one and racism is everywhere.

Germans don't erect statues to celebrate ancestors that fought under Hitler because they have the decency to be ashamed of them. They don't fight to display swastikas to remember the good old days of the Holocaust because they understand that it was a horror.

Only in America, man. The land of the free.

Also... he is so offended that he is waiting until the season is over rather than immediately quitting.

...the most significant thing about this move by NASCAR is who this affects most directly.

NASCAR, financially and socially, does not cater to black people generally. Their audience usually consists of white people. They generally market their product to (American southern, primarily) white people. NASCAR's most fervent and ardent supporters have been American southern white people.

Virtually no one of color supports NASCAR, so there's no need to "pander" to Negroes or Hispanics or anybody else, really.

This is an insular product...and it is a self-inflicted wound, for all intents and purposes. But its significance as an act cannot be understated.

This "racism" problem in America is truly everyone's problem to solve.

...and it starts with dealing with white people's delusions about what this country has been, and intends to become.

This is like open heart surgery. And maybe after awhile, some hearts will be opened.

    One can hope...

And he is such a hot commodity as a driver, that his primary sponsor is the moving company that he owns.

I thought Tamir Rice would have done it seeing that it was a kid playing with a toy gun.

But Floyd's murder was so explicit.

While Rice was shot down people made the excuse that it was a split decision the officer had to make, he didn't know the gun was real.

Floyd, there's none of that. A man is kneeling on a guy's neck for 8 minutes plus, he knew what he was doing.
