Will Military members and families vote for Trump?

How do you see states not certifying the votes of there actual citizens going over?

Mitch McConnell is not guranteed to be in control of the senate come Nov.

I don't think he has nearly the sway to get states to decertify an election, I think we imbue to much power to Trump.

Bush was the one who kept his mouth shut during the 8 years of Obama’s almost complete destruction of America. You’re right, it’s started with Nixon, but the ones that really did the damage was Slick Willie( who let them in the WTO), the two Bushes and then punctuated by Mr Big Ears himself. Be patient with Trump, you know dealing with these ChiCom is not the easiest thing in the world. They have been at war with us since the late 80s. They have bought, bribed, spied their way into every institutions and corrupt politicians in America. It takes time to fight these bastards, awareness of the problem is the first step, Trump has been saying China is ripping us off on day one of his campaign.

 

Remember when he ran, he said this” We are five days away from fundamentally changing the United States of America”. You agree with him because you like his politics but not me. As far as what’s he done to almost destroyed America, you’re seeing the messes that Trump is trying to clean up now. Remember, the guy had 8 years and he wished that he had more. Fortunately, we’re not China and presidents have terms limit.

 

I've stated this before that I just think it's helpful to understand and prepare for these tactics to be used. Not saying the sky is falling, and we have no control of anything. That's not the case there in regards to your comment about imbuing too much power to Trump.

To answer your question on certifying, state canvassing boards certify the election at a state level, but counties certify their results prior. So it'll be REALLY hard for Attorney General Ken Paxton, Abbott, etc. to reverse a certification. I think they need it to be close enough to LEGALLY issue a recount first, and thats where they have some power to say that the STATE does not certify pending a recount.

Trump might be a blowhard, but guys like Bill Barr, Mitch McConnell, and Gregg Abbott aren't idiots.

To you're point about McConnell not guaranteed control of Senate, he'll be until the new Senators are sworn into office. Do you know who swears in the new Senators?.... Mike Pence.

If two or three states are refusing to certify, I honestly cannot see Mike Pence undercutting the GOP attempt, and swearing in new Senators in order to hand the majority over to Chuck Schumer in February.

But I'll say again... these are doomsday scenarios, but I think it's important to understand constitutional loopholes so you can see steps ahead of what a Bill Barr, or Mitch McConnell might try and do. How many times have Democrats been caught with their head in the butts after McConnell or some other Republican used the laws to manipulate against the norms for pure partisan gain? Mitch McConnell denied a seat on the Supreme Court for an entire year.... do not underestimate these guys for one second.

I had not really heard of this scenario and its food for thought but I just don't think Trump holds that much sway and I don't think officials are that hell bent on keeping him in office and will risk starting more civil unrest.

The same type of business oligarchs funded an election to put Hitler in power in Germany because of the economic gain they made by having a strongman shut down protests with force, and make people get back to work.

To me, the Mitch McConnell's and the Bill Barr's are just a representation for these right wing billionaires who only care about money, and power. You think Steve Wynn wants Vegas shut down again when the pandemic has a second wave in the winter? Do you think Mark Zuckerberg wants Facebook social media regulation, and the inability to not take foreign money? Do you think any of them want the 2017 Trump Tax cut repealed?

Trump only has power because of the deal he's made with US Oligrachs to fund his campaigns, fund right wing media, and buy off Republicans in exchange for putting more and more money in their pocket. He's the only blunt instrument they have to use. They don't have Reagan, or even Bush. They are stuck with him. No they don't enjoy his style I'm sure (except for maybe Murdoch), but they have the option of Trumpism and getting rich, or what is presented to them as socialism where they have to fund pesky protesters who want all this free stuff with their taxes, etc. etc. etc. and want them to jump through hoops to not pollute the environment, etc.

This is so obvious that I can't believe it's even discussion worthy at this point. I only have to say two words... Mark Zuckerberg. Look at that POS and tell me again why Trump does or doesn't have real power.

 

My parents were AF, lifelong Republicans, and neither voted for Trump, but I don't think their service effects the opinions one way or another when it comes to Trump.

My experience talking to more recent service members is that if they were already Republicans, they saw Obama as terrible for the military and Trump great for it, even if there was little reason to back that up. The same people often lamented about Obama raising their taxes (when he didn't raise their taxes at all).

 

Honestly, at this point Trump doesn't deserve anyone "being patient with him".

 

It is a lot more to China then just economics and human rights. I have been posting about the evil plans of these ChiCom before but maybe I should start a thread on China and tie everything together in one thread. I would suggest start studying these ChiCom closely and you will see a pattern to what’s happening in America now. They did not do this all by themselves though, they have traitors right here in our soils assisting them. If you want to see blacks being treated badly and discriminated against, you should checkout loads of videos online how the ChiCom are treating blacks in China. Don’t fall for ChiCom’s propaganda man. I can guarantee you nowhere on earth are blacks being treated better than here in America through my extensive travels. We have a rough history of discrimination in America with blacks as well as other minorities. Why are we keep forgetting other people that had been done wrong too like: Natives, Asians, Hispanics, Jews? Hell, even the Irish too, indentured servants anyone? I’ll tell you why, black people are being used to further the agenda of the left and they fell for it, hook, line and sinker.They cannot have lots of blacks being successful, prosperous in America like we have now, so they have to invent some bogus cause to divide America. We have made great strides since the inception of this Republic, we even fought a moral civil war over slavery, name me one country on earth with slaves that did this? We are not perfect, but are the closest thing to an ideal society that millions of people around the world beating down our doors to get in, and you misguided fools in here trying to tell us that we are so racist against blacks that we should hung our heads down in shame. Playing straight into our enemies’ hands.
