The guy was old and feeble and shouldn't have been there in the first place. He was barely touched but fell. If it was my elderly father , I wouldn't complain about the police, I'd say he shouldn't have been there. Most of you are Karen's who are empty inside and think being offended will change that, but a far easier way to improve everyone's life is common sense. Unfortunately that requires intelligence.

The autopsy shows they hit him with their truck.

People are free to have a difference of opinion but they murdered him.

Good, they can be replaced since they obviously support what the other two officers did. New, properly trained officers can be brought in and the cops that resigned can go join stormfront or whatever authoritarian right wing group they want.

Way to read the room, geniuses

I don't know how Buffalo will survive till Monday without access to the 57 RiotSquad Ronin who resigned their commission with pay.

They may have to call in Hobbs & Shaw to preserve order.

what you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone is now dumber for having listened to it.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. They were doing their job. It was after curfew. The guy did stumble a bit. I hate to see a man hurt for seemingly doing nothing though.

Some things aren't black and white and that's okay.

I'm as pro cop as they come and couldn't cisagree more. Cops are supposed to help people, not hurt them.

Cops are clearing out an area. If you don't want to get ran over stay out of the way. If you're in your 70's you should know better.

And if you're in your 20s or 30s and have the impunity of a badge - do whatever the **** you want, no quarter. To serve and protect!

This is the same dumbassery that killed George Floyd.

This is no longer acceptable. We no longer consent to this.

    Kindly shut the **** up

Lol, if a cops threw a spike strip, popped your tires, and then tased you if you were doing 40 in a 35, they would be "doing their job".

That excuse is bullshit. We don't accept it anymore. If the cops don't like it, fine, ****ing quit and find another job.

You say my excuse is bullshit, while I say your dramatics are hilarity.

We can have grey area. There's no reason we can't. The guy is protesting after curfew, sees a police force clearing an area, and literally approaches them, waving his hands.

If he hadn't have stumbled, this would be a nothing. Unfortunately, he did. It's very unfortunate. I feel bad for everyone involved.

What I don't get is what is going through the minds of people to continue to defy curfews to protest? Protest all you want, and I support that. I'll support the cause to the ends of the Earth. But why are you out after a curfew? Especially with what's going on?

And if you're out after curfew, why are you approaching police?

So, in your situation? Am I driving at the police car, waving hi to him, when I know there is a speed trap?

The 57 didnt actually do anything like quit their jobs, give up a paycheck and turn in their guns and badges. They just quit the riot control team. More quality officers assigned to traffic control, or some clerical detail where they park disgruntled, apathetic cops until their pensions vest.

What kind of profession do you think they are in? I think they already tried saying "hey you guys need to go home, it's curfew." 70 year old dudes should be hanging out in the peaceful protest section and not try to make statements against cops.
