Looks like harassment to me. I can see why he would be upset.

The point of that video was what exactly?

he’s just chilling in his car, and the cops roll up on him because the area is known for drug activity

black people can be doing any mundane activity, and still have the cops come

I had a police officer drive up next to me while I was walking in my own neighborhood at night and start asking what I was doing...of course I started getting nervous when I noticed him slowly driving behind me...in my mind, Idk if it’s some racist cop on a power trip about to escalate a non-situation

I like to take a walk at night while listening to music or podcasts before going to bed, but I guess that was “suspicious activity“

they’re slowly trying to play the “scary black man” narrative

McMichaels witnessed no crime, so they’re going with the “he’s black, so it should be assumed he was there looking to burglarize the place” defense...it’s what racists like dachode love to do

it’s strange that a burglar would look to rob a home in broad daylight while wearing a white shirt, and also bring along no mask, no burglary tools, no vehicle, or anything else u would need to commit a burglary

resident racists Dachode and Trader_Hohe have made up so many lies

1st it was he lived 12 miles away because Wikipedia said so

then it was he had a hammer on him

they even post the letter from a DA who had to recuse himself due to conflict of interest and bias as proof that the McMicheals were right

these 2 sh*t stains at the bottom of the toilet will even say that Arbery should be charged with attempted theft of a firearm

2 pieces of garbage that need to get taken out to the street to come and get collected on trash day

You seem to want those two men to be guilty because you and others ignore the obvious.... arberry was suspect as hell. I am done with petty losers like you because you are unreasonable. I am done with this thread unless there is a major update because I said my view and yall acted like children.

Or what police said to justify hassling him. If they were actually looking for drug dealing they would have been waiting for one to go down so they'd actually have justification to search and make arrests.

the one who said Arbery should be charged with theft of a firearm, doesn’t understand how citizens arrests work under the law, posts false propaganda from White Nationalist sources, and posts letters from a DA who had to recuse himself is talking about logic...b*tch please

Hatred of white people? Lmao, good one racist troll. I have a hatred of the murderous McMichaels and their dumb legion of troll defenders.

u seem to want Arbery to be guilty, and will go to any lengths to try and justify your stupidity...u will sink so low and troll this man’s death and also troll the death of an elderly couple with that garbage thread u created

foh...go ahead and exit from this thread

    bye troll

somebody should bag u up and toss u in the dumpster out back...trash

All of these issues of whether Arbery had been hanging out where drug dealing was going on really has no bearing on the direct incident. Even if we accept that Arbery was drug dealing and was casing out the construction site to burglarize later legally none of that changes the facts of the immediate incident.

Since neither of the McMichaels witnessed an actual crime they have no legal basis to detain Arbery. Arbery has a right to be on a public street in cargo shorts, boots, jogging shorts, Under Armor or a suit and tie for all that it matters. Arbery has a right to defend himself from a threat, he has no duty to retreat and no duty to surrender to McMichaels.

This is more of the SOP of the defense for situations like this. Attack the character of the victim to gin up sympathy for the perpetrators and try to muddy up the situation. It's frankly the same as someone accused of rape bringing up that the victim had cheated on her significant other.

I read that Arbery had a criminal record for bringing a firearm to a high school basketball game, had a separate incident where he was charged with shoplifting, and then violated his probation. I wasn't aware of his criminal record up to this point. Could this known criminal record have played a role in the incident? Did the police and the McMichaels know of Arbery from these past criminal acts?

Did you know that the elder McMichael was improperly carrying a service revolver during his job in the past for not completing training? Did you know that one of the McMichaels left a gun in an unlocked car that was stolen earlier this year? Clearly one should be able to leave anything in an unlocked car and not have it stolen, but shouldn't a responsible gun owner maintain control of their firearm? Did you know that the McMichaels did not have direct knowledge that Arbery didn't have the owner's permission to be on the property?

They did the same thing with Trayvon Martin. They do the same thing with rape victims. It is terrible.

And from McMichael's own statement to police, it seemed Arbery tried to retreat from the confrontation twice, before deciding he had to defend himself.

The case will play out now that charges have been filed. It is certainly possible that they are found not-guilty, but that speaks more to problems with the law than anything else. A man is dead. Not from a terrible accident. Not because anybody was in danger. Simply because two guys were suspicious of him and decided to chase him down multiple times, and threaten deadly force.

    ...anything...

...and simply finding the appropriate crime to assign to him...

...be that post-haste or post-mortem, as it happens...:(

lulz...that sounds like a promotion of next week's show. "Join us next week, for answers to these compelling questions."

You aren't that stupid to ask those ridiculous questions. No one from Rice is that stupid. Admit it, your only reason for positing those Aggie questions is simply to re-mention his police record ... and laugh if the thread gets sidetracked.
