I wouldn’t be surprised if his doctors are giving him sugar pills and telling him those are Hydroxychloroquine. The White House doctors are charged with keeping him alive I doubt they risk that even if he orders them too.

I am really disturbed by this. One of the big deniers I know is a firefighter with EMT training. He just posted an uncredited anecdote about someone’s mother death certificate changed to COVID from another cause as evidence that COVID numbers were being faked by the CDC. The tip off to how factual this was when the “writer” blamed the “NHS”. Anyway you would figure that someone with medical training would know better but that doesn’t stop them. It also doesn’t stop other people like those two doctors from Bakersfield spreading misinformation so they can open their for profit clinics.

This is an area where AMA and professional organizations should step in. I know for my profession spreading disinformation in regard to my field would be grounds for sanction or even loss of license. In medicine this is even more immediate and serious.

if that’s the case, then it backfired big time...this orange buffoon is now promoting it to the American people once again this time telling them White House doctors say it’s fine...people who don’t know any better will now start thinking they can take something they have no business taking...it will also make it harder for those who actually need the drug to get it

his obsession with this drug is dangerous

I didn't think about this, but I think you are spot on here with what is likely really going on. The doctors are likely giving him a placebo. Can you imagine being in that doctors shoes if he goes into cardiac arrest? Their name will be written in the history books for the doctor who almost or did kill the president. Your life is over not just as a doctor, but even your life, and your kids life will be known for one terrible thing.

The other possibility is that he isn't taking it... he knows he isn't taking it, and is lying about taking it. What he's doing is he knows or believes he knows that he will not get Covid because there is nobody that comes within a mile of Trump that isn't tested. He wants to setup a scenario where with the next person in the White House that get Covid, he can claim he was within contact of that individual, and tested negative because of the drug.

Hydroxychloroquine is a political tool used to create a grand canyon between half of America and the doctors/scientists. He knows he leads a cult and he loves and feeds off of that power. The fact that he can get half of America to believe him over the worlds most respected scientists and medical professionals gets a rise out of him. The big question is what is he cultivating his cult to do for him next?

This is a very very disturbed person. He's either a psychopathic cult leader who gets off on convincing people to "drink the kool aid" or he's so dumb his doctors convince him he's taking a miracle drug when it's really a placebo.

My guess would be that the White House doctors try to keep out of policy and also are professionally bound to keep quiet about what and how they treat the President.

u can not have the President out here saying he’s taking hydroxy, and that his doctors are the ones giving it to him

somebody is gonna have to come out and say that Trump is lying or was stupid enough to believe he’s been taking hydroxy

hell, since the fckery never seems to end at the White House, if he actually was taking hydroxy, I wouldn’t be surprised...there is nothing rational about this Trump presidency, and most of the people around him are incompetent

It’s a cult. Plain and simple. I would be willing to guess that with other cult leaders like Jim Jones, getting their followers to disregard their own health and safety to prove loyalty to him is the ultimate power sugar high a cult leader can give themselves.

But the Flavor-Aid wasn’t the only toxic mix on the compound. Jim Jones’s paranoia and narcissism, control over his followers, and their attraction to his ideology set the stage for the tragedy.

Yes, and it is troubling. I'm not dealing with disease and as many people as medical professionals or EMT workers, and I know folks that have died and others that have lost family members because of Covid19. Surely these people have seen it. The fact that they would deny their own experiences is very troubling.

Trump does want to go into full campaign mode. I can see Trump doctor shopping until he found one that would write the script. Wearing a mask is a bad look. Trump getting CV+ while campaigning even more so.

Trump’s very, very, very large brain probably thinks that hydroxychloroquine is a preventative.

If BoJo can survive CV, ...

Isn't Hydroxychloroquine like one of the cheaper drugs out there? If Jim Jones was a tight wad that just makes the comparison that much more compelling.

Trump doesn’t seem to understand that the rest of us aren’t petty f-ing lying idiots like he is where he does everything solely for personal gain and to look good.

Isn’t it a prescription drug? Ethical Dr can’t Willy nilly prescribe a drug. But the POTUS probably does have access to the drug. However using it without a dr prescription is an abuse of drug use. Likely he’s not taking it and is just mouthing off. Either way it’s mentally sick and very irresponsible

Notice that even communications from the white house doctor involve a degree of dishonesty...

Guess trump feels safe in that room since he started the hyrox, bright light, and bleach injection therapies for preventive purposes...
