I'm telling you, of all the unexplained weirdness about Trump, the Jared thing is the oddest of all? I odn't really have the mental energy now to worry about it but here's the facts 1. Trump has a weird lascivious interest in his own daughter 2. Trump has a love-hate relationship with his idiot sons, much like his own abusive father 3. Trump somehow thinks his idiot son-in-law, another rich fail-upward real-estate inherinting kid with parents buying him admission into to society, is a genius, even though he is profoundly not and more or less univerally reviled by not only Trump's enemies but by his base and pretty much...everybody. Is it that Trump sees/wishes he was Jared becuase he's skinny and with his daughter? You would think jealousy/envy would lead him to hate on him more, but he has unshakeable faith in Jared, despite Jared failing at everything and being an unending font of terrible advice ("Fire comey" etc) and who literally cannot go in front of the press without creating an embarrassing scandal.
