I don't think he is, but I certainly think real conservatives would be on board with him. Just like true lefties are not going to vote Trump because they get pissed at the DNC. Honestly not sure why ya'll think I think he is a true conservative because I've already said he isn't. But that's not their issue with Trump. It's simply not true that they are refusing to support him because the Dems are somehow MORE CONSERVATIVE. Which they aren't. Trump is a 90s dem which is conservative when you look at how the country views and frames politics today.

Well, economically he isn't a Dem of today, but he definitely resembles the more moderate ones on most policies of social value. Funny enough, his economics are more Reagan era policy and likely why he will get reelected as people will want someone who had a growing economy to lead us through hard times. Reagan was the initiater of big spending, low tax revenue deficits and deregulated banks that eventually resulted in the 2008 crash. Btw, Bill Clinton had a role in it also when he signed off on the repeal of Glass-Stegal in 1999. Reagan is one of the most oddly worshiped presidents ever. He's also very similar to Trump. He had little intellectual curiosity and was loved by his followers because he talked at their grade school level. He had little knowledge of how government and economics worked also. He had more tact and decorum than Trump though. He was the the beginning of the GOP selecting dumbasses as Presidents excluding Bush Sr who was the only smart GOP president in the past half century or so. He also ironically is the least respected modern GOP president by conservatives.
Bush was anything but dumb, and his son was only dumb because it shields him from actual responsibility.
