25 year old man murdered in Georgia for jogging while black

One of the men accused in the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery was involved in a previous prosecution of Arbery, according to a letter written by a prosecutor who has since recused himself from the case.

In an April 7 letter, Waycross Judicial Circuit District Attorney George Barnhill wrote that his son and the suspect, Gregory McMichael, helped with an earlier prosecution of Arbery when they both worked for the Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office.

The problem with you is that unless the thread is framed in the specific manner you desire which is a thread that criticizes black culture.you aren't going to consider it part of a meaningful discussion. Any threads that discusses the 400 years of history that force funneled Black families into poor ghettos or solutions to alleviate poverty such as healthcare reform, criminal justice reform, income inequality, public education reform etc is not counted by you because those threads aren't framed the way you want.

Also, the government can and is supposed to help its citizens, yes. If you're running a city and it is rife with crime do you take 0 responsibility for that? It can do that by providing good jobs, education, etc etc.

But if you want to talk about culture then lets do that and keep it relevant to the topic at hand...what is the culture that makes people think black people are dangerous while doing something ordinary? The culture that allows black people to get different justice while dealing with the law? Where does this culture come from where police officers roll up to a 12 year old kid playing with a toy gun, shoot him dead, and gets excused for doing so?

It's not so much about a guy being killed because he was jogging, as we know, there are sick people out there that kill for silly reasons, but it's about the fact that they were going to get away with the murder of this man. If they had been arrested then and there then it's just another local story.
