How about they call the ****ing cops. If the dude committed the burglary then he should've been held accountable by a judge

For those people who think it's common to drive 12 miles from your home to go jogging, it is only 8 miles from the heart of River Oaks to the center of the Fifth Ward. People from either neighborhood do not jog in each other's neighborhoods.

Leave it to you to chime in on the killers' side.

Thanks for the link. Here's the part that bothers me about this letter: in his 5th point, he says Arbery suddenly turns left and attacks Travis McMichael and they struggle over the gun. He then says, "Given the fact Arbery initiated the fight..." If Georgia law doesn't consider confronting someone while openly armed with a shotgun as initiating a fight, they've got a serious problem.

Imagine, a gangbanger (black in this example of course) sticks you up as you walk to your car after a night at the theatre. While reaching for your wallet, you make a feint and instead grab for his gun. He blows you to hell. Someone hears the shots and soon the cops show up. The ganbanger tells the cops, "I was just asking him the time with this lawfully licensed pistol in my hand and he tried to grab it from me so I shot him in self-defense." So the cops figure they have no probable cause?

And if they did? Would this all be justified?

    I'm pretty sure that's what he's implying. It's disgusting.

No, I'm suggesting it's highly unusual to jog in a neighborhood 12 miles from home. It leads me to believe there's more to the story as to why he's there. The CNN story said he was captured on video four times looking into a house that's under construction.

I still cannot find any information on the since edited Wiki page saying he was 12 miles from his house. I know you like talk based on facts, so can you point me to a credible source saying he was 12 miles from his home?

Also, I used to run through Acres Homes quite often.

How surprising that the killers would say that a man that resembles the deceased was caught on video. Of course, as we know, they all look alike.

"A private person may arrest an offender if the offense is committed in his presence or within his immediate knowledge."

what crime has the Arbery committed in the presence or immediate knowledge of the people who shot him?

    This a perversion of self-defense.

Is it illegal? In any circumstance, does it support the action that led to unintended (intended) consequences?

If people didn’t have hang ups of where people jog, maybe there isn’t anybody dead...?

That Arbery fellow sure is a smart criminal. He wears shorts, a t-shirt and running shoes when he cases joints.

It doesn't really matter. A 10 minute drive to get to a place you like to run isn't a big deal at all. Just more garbage nonsense from desperate ideologically driven people.

Also.. every article I have read (including the now edited, linked Wikipedia article) fails to mention the distance. And his mother, who I'm sure is a pathological liar, says he runs in that area a lot.

My wife and I have a beautiful house in San Leon. Sadly it isn’t the safest area to jog in. Outside of the random trucks that will stop and whistle at my wife, there are a ton of dogs not on leash so she usually drives to my parents house in League City/South shore to jog for safety reasons.
