He said he lied. President fired him because he lied to Vice President.
are we saying , he did not lie. the who argument was that he lied to an adversary who has involved in our election. There are several layers why the lies matters and is matters of national security .. Now Barr just white washed everything.

he said he lied when he was bankrupt and his son was being threaten with prosecution. He now says he didnt lie .

it is impossible for the 'lies' to matter as the DoJ had the phone conversations.

Your great legal experience not withstanding, I still will prefer to go with people with both legal and intelligence backgrounds including former prosecutors and U.S. attorneys that disagree. The very fact you continue to defend him by referring to his "kids" (the thirty-four year old chief of staff who attended meetings between flynn and people in russia) suggests you also agree with the legal and intelligence experts, but you have to defend trump no matter what.

Innocent until proven guilty. The verdict is in!

    Good Thread! :D

One thing that is clear: The FBI's group leading these high level investigations of Hillary, Russia, Flynn, etc... have proven themselves to be some real solid dipsh!ts. They remind me of Vic Mackey's crew. They'll probably end up being the Ollie North's of the left. They ruined their careers but they'll make some bank doing talk shows etc... More power to 'em I say.

There was no verdict. Clearly, Trump intervened because he knows Flynn will squeal if he actually goes to prison. So Trump's toadie of an AG Barr made the charges go away.

For the mouth breathers who think this is justice, they're right - it's just that it's justice, banana-republic style. This is exactly how democracy falls apart, with institutions following the whims of the executive leader rather than systems and processes in place.

You and B@ffled have polluted the D&D with your proud, abject stupidity. Please, both of you - log off, get a ****ing education and then come back when you can contribute.

As I said before this isn't about justice. If it was these people so concerned about Flynn would be members of the Innocence Project.

Gaslighting from the White House. Flynn is no more a traitor than any other White House staffer right now.

Ukraine Impeachment - trump officially acquitted but truthers still believe

Kavanaugh accusation - sketchy af with no corroboration but....me too

Biden accusation - nah bro it dont matter, trump must go down.

0-3 with one pending. Y'all better hit that ballot box hard for Mr. Biden

No, he said he lied as part of a cooperation deal to avoid other charges from an impartial investigation team.

They were never going to prosecute him for lying, it was simply as placeholder charge. You are bad guy, you deserve to be punished, but since you are cooperating, we will let you plead to this lesser crime, have a reduced punishment, and we will bust other bigger fish.

Now that the impartial investigative team is no more, and in place we have banana DOJ, that has been undone, so has the rule of law.

Trying to attack the "lying charge" is downright laughable and illustrates a clear fundamental ignorance to what is happening or how plea deals work in general.

When history books look back on why the American Empire collapsed, they will point to moments like these when we lost faith in the justice system.

When he retracted his plea is irrelevant.

Its been posted numerous times in this thread. Do you even know what a plea agreement is?

Barr up to his neck in corruption, just like his boss. When given another try, trump knew who to pick to be his AG.
