Who do you trust? That is the question The U.S. has to face going forward. We don't trust the president, congress, the supreme courts aka The Government. It does not matter who is in power. We don't trust them We don't trust the media or any of the "information" sources at our disposal Like the government we trust them right up to the point they disagree with us. We don't trust anyone with a Profit Motive. No Companies No Corporations No Businessmen WE D*MN SURE DON'T TRUST EACH OTHER! The United States has a fundamental lack of trust that is the FOUNDATION of any nation or organization. Who do you trust? Rocket River
Uhhh... I have one of those West Highland Terriers.... I do NOT trust my dog. I swear that dog has some Cat DNA in him. So back to trusting no one.
There's a meme going around. I believe in healthy skepticism and with all of the information coming out we should take it with a few grains of salt. Not all information sources are equal. I don't expect people to become experts but there are simple things that most should get such as this is a contagious and the further you get from people the less likely the contagion will spread. The other part is the confirmation bias and cherry picking information. For example upholding Sweden as an argument for opening up the country. One ignoring that Sweden actually isn't doing that good but if you're going to look at Sweden what about other countries like Brazil that have also not mandated a lot of social distance practices. Also just saying that since Sweden didn't shut down we should ignores too what are the similarities and differences between Sweden and the US.
