The most important question is what color hat Commodore thinks Flynn is wearing?

great summary from former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy, what the FBI did to Flynn is something out of a political thriller

I would like to hear Nook and Jayzer's take on this they are prosecutors.

My understanding is that often in these type of interviews the questioner already has a lot of knowledge of what the interviewee might say. These aren't just free form interviews but are focused and that an interviewer won't ask a question unless they already expect a certain answer.

I've tried to dig into this. What happened to Flynn was pretty messed up. He was broke from legal fees and they threatened to go after his son when he made the plea deal. Flynn wasn't exactly innocent but the tactics used were some **** you see on a Netflix doc, like Making a Murderer. He was fired by Obama for not pushing the narrative that ISIS was on the retreat and we were winning in Afghan and made some enemies within the intelligence community. He seems like a dull tool or did not have good legal representation. He'll probably end up suing and winning now that all of the stuff about the 302s are coming out though.

He retracted his guilty plea. His position is that they forced him to plea guilty by threatening to go after his son. There is some proof of this. You also have been given undeniable proof the agents were not acting in good faith and that it was a personal attack.

So you have a he said;she said scenario because you have no idea if he lied. You are assuming the immoral FBI agents are telling the truth which is odd. Even if he did lie, it wouldn't excuse FBI agents behavior though.

Here's how General Colin Powell (former four star general, served as National Security Advisor, as Commander of the U.S. Army Forces Command and as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) described flynn...

Wtf does Colin Powells opinion of the man have to do with anything? He didn't even know him or work with him and if he did it wouldn't matter.

Hmm... whose opinion would be worth considering... a former four star general, served as National Security Advisor, as Commander of the U.S. Army Forces Command and as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, or some trump supporter who posts sketchy conspiracy theories (usually involving hats) in support of trump?

Why did you add those last two paragraphs? It's not in my comment you quoted. Take them out.

It's just a small white lie, our commander and chief does it everyday and it doesn't seem to bother you much.

Because to one side It’s obvious: The ‘crew’ from the FBI pulled more of their shady **** to go after Trump and his staff in this case. To the other side it doesn’t matter that there is corruption involved because it achieved a desirable result.

it’s kind of where we always end up at in these threads. I’m surprised that someone who against Trump would call it out unless you’re just stoking the flames, like a bad kitty. Lol.

It’s these stories (spygate etc) that seem to outlandish to be true, that the Right media pushes and keep keep turning out to be true ...it’s these stories that strengthen my resolve with the Right. I think Trump is asshoe FWIW. I look at the cast on the left: the House and Senate members, the media hosts... They don’t seem like regular people to me. They don’t represent me. And they are so damned underhanded. Hats off on being able to have the MSM collaborate.

Now, I didn’t insult anyone so don’t go there on me. I’m stating why I align myself with the right. AND yeah, I’m aware there is some hypocrisy involved. But there is on either side.
