I can bear this. But if Asik says he secretly wanted to go back to Chicago, I'll be crushed.

We got Russell Westbrook this year
An all star who’s won the mvp

and not a trace of new fans who joined to claim that he’s the greatest player ever and zero talk about his race

Lin was a trash NBA player after month of basketball wishes came to an end. Dude was like the kid from Rookie of the Year.

except he didn’t throw underhanded, just stupid ass jump passes

lol, lots of bashing on Lin.

i don't kick guys when they're down, so i won't go there at all. i'm just wondering, though, if he also had the option to just simply not sign the Rockets offer.

seems to me, he would've rejoined NYK with a smaller salary as a result of not getting something from a different team, which would've accomplished exactly what he wanted without the salary.

was he really cornered is the question. based on what i see, no he wasn't. fire the agent and go back playing for NYK...

Lol, doesn't surprise me that he wouldn't like Houston even before coming here.

But I am a bit surprised that he had literally zero other offers? That's weird, no one even wanted to sign him for low?

    This is the hilarious part.

Even Knicks that have made poor decisions after poor decisions, knew they should forget Airemy.

    And they were proven right.

no he's not down, he's up like 60 million dollars
and he's still crying in church about it

don't kick Lin, he'll be on the injured list for the whole season, then demand to get traded or ask for 10 million dollar a year contract

    @Air Yordan

If James Dolan and Les Alexander don't want you to be part of the organizations anymore then
    you really really suck

These are the two greediest bastards in nba history

And RIP for Kobe Bryant to yelling at the crap player about how to play basketball

oh i agree, i was being sarcastic .

But , it really was a rough war on the board .

As for my own opinion i didnt think LOF's really existed or if they did it was a very small number of people who didnt even post much. I saw much more hate and use like clutch said. Idk if LOH's existed too much either but trolls definitely abounded during that time period.

    Let's be honest

This a Rockets board, and this would happen when NON ROCKETS FANS JOIN

    And you are wrong again

there were a ton of new members that weren't fans and many many of them got banned

I mean, YOU'RE A LOF. Because NO ROCKET FAN uses that term LOH

I would rather quit and get another job.

But if forced to with a gun to my head, I would rather sign Pippin because I can always trade him for assets.

Airemy Lin, OTOH, was a certified mental midget scrub that no one would want, which is why we had to offload assets just to get rid of him.

Super Lintendo was a badass nickname though. Too bad he couldn’t continue that run.

I don't know. I know for sure Lin has a team of advisors and yes men who work for him.
He's not going to take less money. I'm 99% sure of that.

im jus sayin man ... look I was around at that time , it just felt to me that there weren’t too many people that ONLY liked Lin .

on the other hand it DID feel like that any post praising part of Lin’s game was branded quickly as a LOF post and got hated on quickly . From there it spiraled .
