Amazing how many people will not only disagree but attack you for suggesting it came from a place other than the market even after it was shown the seafood market doesnt sell bats.

Yall need to think statistically... what are the odds a bat corona virus would break out near one of a few labs in the entire world and not be a leak? High or low?

The odds are pretty good that the disease didn't come from the lab. There are a lot of places with bats in Southern PRC such as Yunnan province and even parts of Hubei Province. Wuhan is a major travel hub from places like Yunnan. I've done trips from Wuhan to Western Hubei province where there are caves with bats. I've also done the trip from Wuhan to rural Yunnan province. It very easily could've been someone infected from a bat in one of those regions going to Wuhan and visiting the market that kicked off the infection. It also could've been an intermediary animal that got infected from one of those regions that was then taken to the market in Wuhan.

At the moment I wouldn't rule out that the virus might've been accidentally released from the lab. There is compelling evidence that their security wasn't as good as it should be. There is also plenty of evidence that the lab had nothing to do with it. I don't think we're going to know for certain anytime soon and possibly ever.

Looks like I did it by mistake. The response was regarding the information provided by Los Pollos (I believe) that the virus was scientifically proven to be natural. My bad.

There's no solid evidence that UFO's don't exist so they must exist right?

UFO's are unidentified flying objects. They happen all the time bro. Military reports have been declassified about this phenomenon actually.

I am not sure either but they should have most definitely moved a lab to an island.

Hainan is a big island, it would have been easier and strategic to contain an accidental spillover.

Hainan has two decent sized cities there, is a tourist hub along with major military facilities there. Most of the PRC's secret and/or sensitive facilities are in the Gobi Desert. Why this facility wasn't there I think has more to do with that they didn't think it was that big of a danger They might've been wrong but I don't think we will ever really know for certain.
