I just watched both seasons of Derry Girls. It was much funnier than I expected. Great cast of characters, and laugh out loud scenes. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys shows like Schitt's Creek. I wouldn't recommend it for young audiences though, because it's got a lot of crude language and inappropriate content for children.
I just binged an entire season of Gold Rush Parker's Trail... help me please... I remember @Dr of Dunk describing Deadliest Catch years ago (I think) ... start of show - drop traps/ haul up traps "OMG NO CRABS" ... [random crew drama] ... end of show ... ARE THERE CRABS ... WOOO HOOO CRABS ... Repeat for 2 decades. Gold Rush is the exact same show with gold dust and an occasional nug -- I do enjoy Australians though -- they're like bizarre Texans with a strange accent. This is my life now.
Did you watch the whole season? We watched episode one last night. Needed something to pick us up after watching episodes of Bosch and Ozark
I don't mind subs but I have to be in the mood and I have way to much other stuff I am watching now. It will stay on my list.
Started Peaky Blinders, not that impressed so far, I can see the bones of a great show but I think they are trying to do to much. I am 4 episodes and I will continue, maybe I was expecting to much or does it catch its stride later on?
It does just gotta give it a bit of time. I couldn't understand some of what they were saying and had to throw the subtitles on but it's an excellent show overall.
I did. It is not the greatest. Very cutesy in the vain of The Good Place. But it does have a good storyline. It gets lost from time to time. Rocket River
This is Netflix gold so far not on the level of Tiger King insanity but just an unreal Making a Murderer-like escalation. How can someone take that many hard drugs at work for years at a police crime lab and live/ not get noticed?
I'm sure somebody brought it up in this thread, but my wife and I have been Laugh/Crying through the entirety of "After Life" on Netflix. It is super good.
