Not stupid, just disingenuous. The result of blind support on trump. Since trump doesn't have any integrity, his supporters feel its OK as well...
Might as well put this excellent piece of writing from last year here. https://pasdemerde.com/2019/10/18/british-writer-pens-the-best-description-of-trump-ive-read/ He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of ****. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum. God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid.
Can you think of any NBA GM's who would be *worse* than Trump here? Forget Morey, Hinkie, Ujiri, all the smart kids, why not ****ing President Scott Llayden, woudl that be so bad?
https://www.theonion.com/ theONION is a satirical digital media company. They published an article on 3/25/2020 titled "Man Just Buying One Of Every Cleaning Product In Case Trump Announces It’s Coronavirus Cure". Now they put this article on the front page.
So now... trump's defense has moved off the "he was misquoted" to "he was being sarcastic"? How's that working for you defenders... he is dissing you more than the rest of us...
That's not what anyone is mocking Trump about, its been known for years that UV light kills bacteria. Have you never been in a barber shop?
Wow. I am gonna have to see actual proof of this. Nevermind. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/do...mments-about-injecting-disinfectants-n1191991
People just overrate American general people IQ based on powerful military and economic growth. Most of the smart Americans in USA likely are immigrants from other countries because they are highly educated. Trump people do not like education, they are lazy, fat too.
https://www.mediaite.com/tv/fox-new...isinfectant-comments-didnt-look-like-sarcasm/ Fox News’ Bret Baier Says Trump ‘Clearly Stepped In’ It With Disinfectant Comments: Didn’t Look Like Sarcasm President Donald Trump claimed today that his comments about the injecting of disinfectant were “sarcastic,” but Fox News’ Bret Baier said that’s absolutely not how it looked during Thursday’s briefing. During Fox News’ Outnumbered, Melissa Francis brought up what the president said claiming he was “being sarcastic by posing a question to reporters, he claims that he did not ask medical experts to look into it, he was simply asking a sarcastic question.” “Well, that’s not how it looked in the briefing, and not how it came across in the briefing,” Baier said. “What is problematic for this president is that sometimes he goes on these riffs. And when you’re dealing with medical things, statements, when you are riffing from a podium, sometimes that works great on other topics, when politics comes into play, but when riffing about possible cures or treatments, it didn’t seem like it was coming off as sarcastic when he was talking and turning to Dr. Birx on the side.” “Obviously, this is his answer to all of that criticism. But the president does get himself into these issues. I don’t think he wants to cause any harm to anyone, obviously, and no one at home thinks, ‘You know what? I’m going to go drink bleach.’ I don’t think. But it is something that he clearly stepped in here,” Baier added. Video is at the above link
So... trump's new position he was simply being "sarcastic" at reporters. And that "sarcasm" resulted in worldwide derision for the president of the United States. Caused manufacturers of disinfectants to issue statements telling people to not misuse their products. Caused the US Surgeon General to release a statement telling people to not ingest disinfectants. And caused the CDC to issue a statement (below). trump defenders... you good with all this?
Wrong... according to our leader "But when Trump was asked about the comments during a bill signing on Friday, he said, "I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters like you just to see what would happen." Another lie from Trump
Look, this is nothing earth shattering here and has been around a long long time. I have a humidifier - it uses UV light to kill germs. INSIDE THE MACHINE. You can not expose humans to UV light. All UV light causes cancer. And if you have a viral infection, it's not just in your windpipe but deep in your lungs and your blood. What UV light can do is disinfect medical equipment, some surfaces, or even air that is circulated. It can help lower transmission, but it can not cure you.
This is another one of the frequent defenses trotted out. That Trump is joking and the Liberal media has no sense of humor. I've heard this defense trotted out for when he said "we should take people's guns without due process" calling Tim Cook "Tim Apple" and even for "Mexico will pay for the wall."
