I really wished he wasn’t high/drunk during his speech it really hurt his image. If he gave a great mvp speech it could’ve changed his media perception heavily
I'm not bashing Kia, but look, everyone knows it's a low-dollar entry level brand. Does the affiliation make this award seem less appealing to anyone else? I'd almost rather have the Mercedes Runner-Up MVP award.
I teared up. Props to the awards show for doing absolutely nothing but let him talk. Never seen that before. That's a 9-minute speech of real, pure gratitude by one guy. I struggle mightily to understand gratitude in my own life. And the last place I expect to find some spark of comprehension is from a celebrity making millions of dollars. But this just doesn't seem fake or contrived. It actually touches me. I'll have to bookmark it and come back to it, because I think Russ gets it. Thanks, Russ.
I liked Rus using notes to make sure he didn't leave out anyone outside of the family. Then he thanked his family for his up bringing, support & love.
