Don't you think that this thing about obesity should be first in his post and start to get plastered in all headlines and all media so people will know that they must lose weight?
You can't do much about the rest but you can lose some weight.

Even losing 20-30 pounds in 6 months can be the difference between life and death. I dont' think it will be that hard for an obese person to lose 20 pounds. If they care to do so. If they realise that it means they can die. NOW not in the future.

These stats aren't that far off from the general American population (e.g. which is 40% obese, as per the article).

So, yeah, the data are basically saying, COVID-19, when it strikes Americans... strikes Americans... and slightly more for the least healthy Americans.

    Okay.

He's acting like we just found out on who are most vulnerable.
    The arrogance is impressive.

Obesity rate in Americans is 40% .And you have >30% more population are over-weighted. ...

Trump and his people should use this as one of their daily excuse hunting ..

    Abbott (on KPRC Ch.2):

(Does one order overrule another order?) The Governor's Executive Order, if it says in the order that it applies statewide, then it would trump a local Executive Order.

(Will we all be back in restaurants in 2 weeks?) Next Monday, I'll be issuing my next Executive Order. We're getting a lot of input across the State of Texas, including right there in Houston about things like restaurants and hair salons and all other types of businesses where we're getting the best strategies and we're running those strategies by our team of doctors to make sure the extent these facilities can be open, they're open in a way that reduces and/or prevents the spread of the Coronavirus.

(How quickly do you see those opening?) Get ready. Pretty soon. We'll let you know on Monday.

Remember this dumb mother****er thought it was all a joke a month ago when the rest of us started quarantining.

45,000 dead bodies later it's still funny!

They are trying to lay the groundwork for the defense that "your meemaw was already mostly dead anyway so if The Rona hadn't killed her something else would have - so you cant blame us that she's dead" for when they reopen everything and death rates spike.

Yep. Open the economy: Trump will take credit. People die: Trump will blame the Governors, "I told you to do testing, why didn't you do testing, all you needed was some Q-tips!"

This seems like an issue to really care about ... if you live in Meridian, Idaho.

Nobody is getting arrested for playing within the rules in the liberal scumfest that is San Francisco. Kids were running races up and down my block all day. (Shrug.) We get along.

And I wonder how many more people have died due to Coronavirus-related complications?
