I can not understand what you are saying. What the administration has done vis a vis the virus is working on their fourth attempt. Initially what they did (or didn't do ) caused great damage to our effort against the Virus.

Trump's response has evolved but was behind every expert's suggested response, the response of other countries who've done a better job of handling the outbreak, and many of the nation's governors.

I pointed to things about Trump's response that didn't have to do with his demeanor, messaging etc. I also pointed out that it is silly to not point to those things since he should be held accountable for them like any other leader would be.

The only things Trump has been doing correctly are things people asked him to do before and he failed to them. Now he's following rather than leading.

You say, yes you can criticize Trump for not acting sooner, but let's not do that. Yes, you can criticize Trump for his lies and the way that he messages, but let's not do that either. Let's look at what he's done only after the numbers skyrocketed.

That isn't judging his leadership by any fair standard.

Sorry if already posted. New yesterday from the Lincoln Project.

"He wasn't distracted. He just didn't care." Pretty good summation of the dude as a human being and president.

Trump is working around the clock in DC with a team of experts to marshal military resources, coordinate with other countries, coordinate with private businesses, and lead the federal government's "all of government" response to COVID. Daily press conferences offering full transparency. Money in the hands of the people and businesses.

The guy is working his tail off. What movie are you watching, chap?

what is the point. he is lying without any remorse.
This cannot be partisan concern. So far, I don't see any republicans worried about it.

He is given a platform to lie. he is doing what he has been doing life time and will keep doing it for four more years, if he wins. we cannot stop him from lying.

My only hope is he does it on a different platform.

This is the group of Republican Never Trumpers who have said they will use the same tactics they used against Democrats to unseat Trump.

The "why did you say this last time" or "do you take responsibility" questions just give him an opportunity to grandstand and complain about the media. Just ask neutral, simple, factual questions about the virus - it's much more impactful to viewers when he gives a crazy answer to fair questions.

No. We’re moving to pass/no-pass in the pandemic, Zoom-class era.

And that performance is a definite no-pass. Student did zero preparation and none of the assigned reading.
