    Do you think Trump and his people will accept that he lost an election? The only way to keep his believers 'ok' is to make Trump a life president.

    The earlier Trump leaves office, the better for the country. Having anyone else in that office would be a step forward.

    I mean, yeah we need masks, but is this the way to go about it? We might need the Germans' help on stuff one of these days. Guess it doesn't matter if you can't see past the November election, or next week's opinion polls.

    FT: 3M refused Trump’s demand to divert 10 million N95 masks produced in S’pore to the US

    "According to the Financial Times (FT), the company had resisted on the grounds that doing so would deprive medical workers in Asia of protection, quoting a source with “direct knowledge of the matter.”

    The masks are produced by 3M’s hub in Singapore and are exported to countries in Asia."

    It's why you need an emergency strategic stockpile

    My question is can't you evoke the Defense Production Act to have companies make these supplies for the US.... 3-4-5...8 weeks ago.

    So since they're based in the US but operate globally, how does the Defense Production Act work on these type of companies? It's not cut and dry like that.
