It might take trump a few years to get it back to where it was pre corona.

$2 trillion stimulus is not enough for this, this is so beyond the pale of anything we have ever experienced. that has ever happened, ever ever ever.

I guess I was wrong about seeing the market have another fall today. A two day rally is a hopeful sign but I still think we're far from being back on track.

    ur just being logical.

Most probably, pension plans re-balancing their portfolio just B4 the end of Q1 contribute to this most recent upswing in the market.

Looks like I will be filing soon - our company is cutting WAY back to survive, I doubt I will miss out on the cuts.

Lol, that's a hopeful sign in terms of the deck chair looking really good with that iceberg as a background.

Today's unemployment claims chart may be the single scariest xy axis visual element ever created.

I am more scared for the future now than I ever was.

Futures are tanking again so will see what happens. Yes the unemployment numbers are scary but the market might've priced them in. Anyway it's going to be a rocky ride for the near term.

trump trying to get legislation passed that allows business to deduct meals from taxes... will this help restaurants or is this more a "helping big businesses" approach?

The published data says that we have had roughly 5,000 people die in the USA from COVID. 95+% of these deaths had major health problems already, which begs the question whether they died because of COVID, or died with COVID. No one has successfully made this case yet.

Last week, 6.6 million people filed for unemployment. Again, 5,000 "COVID deaths", of which only around 250 didn't have major underlying health conditions. The median age of death has been around 77 years old. It's morbid, actuarial math, but is this ratio of job loss to deaths acceptable (6.6 million to 250 healthy people deaths)? My opinion is that it is not. People die everyday from a multitude of factors, especially the elderly. Are we properly assessing this risk? Are we properly TARGETING our scarce medical resources on those who need it? Are we right to keep EVERYONE home, when statistics show that the virus poses a low risk to the working age population? Should we instead re-double our efforts to isolate and protect the vulnerable? Wrecking the economy will lead to far more deaths than 250. And will leave us without any money to invest in health care.

Many questions that haven't been adequately answered. Logic needs to enter the chat here, not rage-filled emotions. No one makes good decisions when they are in that state of mind.

Your track record is not very good. Or is Trump a fear pornographer as well now?
