CNBC had two guests on and they said Tilman might be forced to sell if no games played for 12th month. He will need to do some very Creativing Financing to keep his team if it last 6 months because he's highly leverage and his Casino and Restaurants are losing money. Not a "Real Billionaire" as what the guests said. They never mentioned his name tough....just "Highly Leverage owner that are not real Billionaire that is losing money in his other business such as Restaurants and Casinos." Can't think of any other owner that is HIGHLY Leverage and in the Restaurants and Casino
Maybe he can run for President then, I hear it's a popular career path for failed fake billionaires. Hell, what could possibly go wrong if we elected one?
I'd consider sacrificing a season for him to sell. Only downside is wasting a year of Harden's prime which is risky. If only this happened after Harden's prime, not during it.
Next thing you know, Tilman will be named GM of the team and trading DeAndre Hopkins for a 2nd round pick.
Doesn't really matter, the damage has already been done. The disastrous Westbrook trade, the complete dismantling of the 2017 team due to luxury tax concerns.
He would be forced to sell the hotels and rest. for pennies on the dollars in today's environment, so he's definitely not going to do that. And he already said he is not going to sell the team. So his only option is "Highly Creative Financing" which he said he has already lined up and was even going to buy up his own debt in the future and make money off it!!! Of course, if lockdown last 12 months, I'm not sure "Creative Financing" will save him this time. It did help him buy the Rockets though!
Tilman can dump all players excluding harden and WB, then sign undrafted and min. cost saving continues, unstoppable.
Watch him order Morey to sell Draft picks for CASH to owners like Balmer and Warriors owners. They love to buy draft picks for Cash
A democrat likely would have been too scared of being called racist and a bigot for closing the borders... I think that's better than Clinton would have done. That said, he delayed closing it for too long and shoulders significant blame.
Not going to happen unless he's blown away with an offer and willing to swallow his ego. Houston is stuck with 2 of the sh*ttiest owners around.
Don't believe everything/anything you see on Fox News. If Trump took the quick, decisive, and effective action like Obama & Biden did during Swine Flu and N1H1, the current crisis could of been almost avoided completely. Just take a look at some countries like Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. They faced a higher potential risk than the USA due to their closer proximity to China, population density, and other factors. However due to having competent leaders that acted effectively and quickly, they were able to largely contain the coronavirus with minimal damage done. Maybe it helps having a president that listens to doctors and scientists vs one that listens to loud mouth radio or TV show hosts with no medical or science expertise like Rush Limbaugh.
