Already passed imo Even when we get the virus under control, the economy is in shambles. Sports and entertainment will mean nothing for awhile...
NBA season is done...sh*t, I don’t even know when regular people will be allowed to hoop everybody bout to be on the court out of shape and rusty as hell months from now...expect crazy amounts of airballs and missed layups at your local hooping spot
Hell no. It's a logistical nightmare to try to complete this season. Even if large gatherings were allowed again by mid-April(and I don't see any way in which that happens), they'd have to have a mini-training camp and either finish 20% of the regular season or bypass that altogether and go straight to the playoffs(thereby screwing over every team jockeying for seeding). And then that would push back the start of next season unless they plan on having a very short offseason. This season is lost.
They post poked olympics today. Looks like nba not gonna finish this year. It’s gone. Atleast 3-5 months of this.
Yup... Olympics didn't start until late July so I can't see NBA re-starting in August. It's over as I thought.
its done. The season is over. The season supposed to end in 2 weeks and the olympics also been post poned . Wait for next season no playoffs this season. We are just too far behind to catch up to play games.
I hope you're joking. The playoffs take 2 months. Which means they'd end in September. When's the next season supposed to begin? January?
A mini tournament is prolly more realistic, by realistic I mean doubtful to happen. Drastically fewer games, tons of testing, and no audience. The crowned champion would be added an asterisk.
Maybe. But that would screw up two seasons instead of one. Would we prefer the NBA just abandon this season and start up in mid-October like normal for 2020-21? Or try to finish this season in a rushed, shortened format and then play a shorter 2020-21 season as well?
LOL playoffs in july? Never had playoffs in july. tell me how it is in your dreams and get back to me.
