the thing with a regular facial mask, which has holes/pockets that still allow the smallest of particles in, is it has no filter. So once someone coughs/sneezes in your direction, that contaminates your mask immediately. It enters through the holes/pockets in that mask, despite many believing well its covering your face. Since it doesn’t have a filter which a N95 mask does, you’re immediately breathing continuously and taking all that in so long as you are wearing it. The correct thing to do is to discard it immediately which is done regularly for those in the medical field. However, the average person just continues to walk around with it on and more often than not reuses it.
There’s no actual lockdown or curfew order. You’re absolutely allowed to be out. But It’s your own judgement and responsibility to decide whether or not you believe it’s worth it. The stay at home order yesterday was generally just another reminder to practice social distancing, wash your hands etc for ppl still not taking this seriously. Not much different than what was already in place prior to yesterday’s “announcement”

If you are construction, then I believe you are fine. At least for Dallas county - currently have a job site there that's still on-going with the city inspectors still working. I read Houston is similar.

You're fine. Nobody in law enforcement cares unless you have a big crowd. They're letting people OUT of jail during this crisis.
