Are we allowed to be out today at all? Dont want to run into any issues but I have a job site I wanted to check out. Not sure if that falls under the order or not.

Droplets land on surface of mask. Person breathes in, virus goes through mask. If there is any help provided by mask versus not wearing mask, entering situation with false sense of security easily creates more risk than not wearing a mask.

the thing with a regular facial mask, which has holes/pockets that still allow the smallest of particles in, is it has no filter. So once someone coughs/sneezes in your direction, that contaminates your mask immediately. It enters through the holes/pockets in that mask, despite many believing well its covering your face. Since it doesn’t have a filter which a N95 mask does, you’re immediately breathing continuously and taking all that in so long as you are wearing it. The correct thing to do is to discard it immediately which is done regularly for those in the medical field. However, the average person just continues to walk around with it on and more often than not reuses it.

There’s no actual lockdown or curfew order. You’re absolutely allowed to be out. But It’s your own judgement and responsibility to decide whether or not you believe it’s worth it. The stay at home order yesterday was generally just another reminder to practice social distancing, wash your hands etc for ppl still not taking this seriously. Not much different than what was already in place prior to yesterday’s “announcement”

I think you should be ok. Went to work at 7 since I am deemed *ahem* ESSENTIAL, and saw the same amount of traffic today as this past week lol

Both are better. His lungs are still super junky, though.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!

At this point people should flat out be arrested and jailed / fined.
You don't need to meet up with other people to survive.

something needs to be done to protect society from this level recklessness and stupidity

I’m not in the mood to forgive people who still choose to be this dumb at this point in time...shame that mofo

even with the kid who said Corona wouldn’t stop him from partying and then later apologized, I see people in here copping pleas and feeling sorry for the dude saying we all did dumb things when we were young...man, I’m sorry, as a young 20 something year old, u should still be expected to use your brain and have some common sense

If you are construction, then I believe you are fine.

At least for Dallas county - currently have a job site there that's still on-going with the city inspectors still working. I read Houston is similar.

It's lulzy because the name of that index only registers with white people that like bad food, and nobody else in America.

You're fine. Nobody in law enforcement cares unless you have a big crowd.

They're letting people OUT of jail during this crisis.
