I mostly agree! But these guys are gonna drive theirselves crazy looking for the best "gotcha" tweet to post here. Pursuing positives is much more calming.

It's scary how factual that description is about the leader in charge of our country. That's him and and his Fox friends in a nutshell. I have never felt so disgusted with a President in my lifetime. One day he will fall off that golden pedestal he puts himself on, and even when he does, he will blame it on someone else.

The volume of cases don't matter - what matters is the death toll.

It was a couple weeks ago many of you were talking about / calculating that millions of Americans would die from this thing.

The current death toll is 782.

The damage across the country has been limited and we have one population center where that contains roughly half the total cases in the nation.

This thing was never going to be isolated in Wuhan. And it was inevitable it would reach our shores without a total lockdown of international travel which you liberals called racist when it was implemented - then you want to cry that it wasn't done soon enough.

You guys are as dishonest as Pelosi getting caught with her pants down , the house out of session and slapping the Senate bill down so McConnell and Trump don't appear to have handled the situation with an ounce of competence without your input - Cant have that.

If you ask me - I think we're all doing pretty damn good right now considering the stakes we're playing for. Some of you need to stop the partisan BS and be objective.

If he falls off that Golden Pedastal he will take us with him. Unfortunately he is the President and as such I want him to succeed in resolving this crisis. That is honestly why I think he shouldn’t be talking and damn sure not tweeting. He needs to leave it to the experts and let them explain things and then follow their advice.

Tesla is going to start making ventilators, Ford is partnering with 3M and GE to make protective equipment for healthcare workers. All of this takes time to retool factories and reconfigure supply chains. It will likely be several weeks if not a couple of months before we will see full production.

Good. Maybe enough of the will "Self-Sacrifice" as Dan Patrick wants to do, to assure Trump is not elected again.

and a couple of days ago, someone claimed the daily death was dropping.

The number of infected is still climbing exponentialy and because of limited testing, we probably have more infected cases than currently recorded. Florida is looking like a potential hot spot.

Deaths will lag the infection, and while it is unfortunate, there is likely more death on the way, and the rate of dying usually falls off the cliff when the healthcare system is overwhelmed.

The stay at home is meant to dampen the curve and reduce the burden on the system, but it is far too early to say how effective it has been.

Everyone knows what they say about counting your chickens...........

You are the dumb one to think mr "Fake news" does any sort of robust risk assessments, let alone daily ones. All he cares about is looking good and that his own businesses and personal wealth doesn't suffer. The dude has no empathy to care about people dying/starving/suffering - it's all about him and his little vendettas/grievances

I'm actually all about robust risk assessments - the first one with regards to pandemic was done by Obama administration during incoming admin's crash course in 2016.

Trump has always ignored expert advise when it's not an absolute must. F*ck that dude and his supporters lapping up his used car salesmanship while calling others dumb and paranoid.

It's about time that everyone puts him on ignore.

Someday when this is over, he might seem cute again.

Apparently, he and Cuomo have bad history together.

Trump is playing with people's lives over a grudge.

Again... this is the president, about a fellow republican, but even beyond the partisan labeling, this is a fellow American who has devoted a good deal of his life to public service...

... and while people squabble over the amount of time it took to react seriously, and even how much time it took for the senate to agree on a deal. I guess the governors of these two states haven't "treated us (trump) well" enough...

Trump hasn’t yet released disaster unemployment funds
President Donald Trump approved three states’ disaster declarations during the past week, but not the sought-after disaster unemployment assistance.

I agree completely, but honestly don't think he can control himself when it comes to talking, tweeting, and tooting his own horn. He belittles the experts, by acting like he knows more than anyone about everything. Watching him pretty much disagree with his own medical experts, and doing his own thing, regardless of their expert opinions is dangerous for us all.
