I hope Tilman goes bankrupt. He sounds like a terrible human being.

This Aldelsen guy has spent his life trying to f*** poor people through the political process. Even he has more integrity than Tillman Fertita. Embarrassed Tillman is our owner and embarrassed he is affiliated with my alma mater.

I work in the event industry and it is a very hard time for all of us. I’ve worked on events at the Sands Expo and it is a gigantic area that employs a ton of people. Sands employees have been good to me in the past and I’m happy to see that they are being taken care of.

I think I'm missing the understanding of whether these people are still going in to work. I was originally thinking they were at home and not getting paid (like many of my friends are). If they are actually in the workplace, yes, doesn't make any sense to take away PTO. Not sure that's even legal. I get it now.

They can't sue him and these people can file for unemployment. He doesn't have to pay them.

Genuinely curious, how is this different than say United Airlines letting go of their employees because they can’t pay them?

angela yee is a public news figure. she isn't the one who works for golden nugget. her platform is being used as a repost

if Tilman fired any of these people that have pto that he has denied for them to use, he'd have to pay it anyway

Poor Tilman....the man’s losing millions each day and may be forced to sell his basketball franchise..
And now his employees want money that he doesn’t have due to the Covid-19 closures.

Someone needs to start a GoFundMe for the Tilman!

yup. If this Tilman dude if really worth over $5 billion...is it really going to hurt his pockets to spend $1 million to help out his hourly employees that will have zero wage and might be evicted?

You're a billionaire, help us poor hourly folks. We're living on the edge.

Mr Tilman, $1 million to you to help us poor folks is like us poor folks giving someone .25 cents. That's how rich you are.

YOU IS RICH. NOW PROVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You’re saying he’s worth $1,125.00 in your value system.
