    He made 5m last season and was a number 2 receiver. And he’s turning 30. Yeah great move Bill. Don’t tell me anyone else was offering Cobb anything near that kind of money.

    Or, if you were hellbent on trading Hopkins, get Patrick Peterson from Arizona and not David Johnson. At least Peterson gives you a shut down cornerback they desperately needed.

    Arizona should have been stuck with paying David Johnson $10 million this season. Nobody should have done them a solid and acquired him, but Bill O’Brien is playing chess while the rest of us are playing checkers, I suppose. I’d rather have $10 million in cap space than 99% of running backs.

    Peterson and a 2021 first for Hopkins and a third or fourth would have been a much better deal.
