America is doing great. Started horribly but now look. Everywhere in the country closed bars restaurants schools and people prohibited meeting over 10 people. Since the US is behind Europe, and has taken such good measures already you shouldnt be hit hard like Italy. Good job.
I think all major grocery stores should implement online only with a $100 dollar max, with limits on essentials of 2 per customer.. It will prevent spread, and limit people from hoarding. If you think you need 200 rolls of toilet paper, then you can wait in the car line everyday for 3 hours. The stores should be open 24/7 and hire more people. Also police supervision around the clock. The 100 dollar amount should also deter robberies of people leaving with supplies. I think the grocery store is where this virus will spread the most. It's like a burning house and people need to keep running back in to get their prized possessions. Maybe a better analogy is a sinking boat the people have to go underwater to retrieve the emergency pack to sustain life. You need the stuff, but at what cost? You can't save tomorrow if today is lost.

Yes and grocery store workers need to be temperature-checked and tested for COVID. They’re in essence first responders as well.
CAlifornia just bought an old motel for 4mil that they are gonna convert into hospital rooms. The 10 day hospital in China was insane and I dont think we have the quick building infrastructure that they do. We got pop tents for emergencies.
The military definitely has the ability to build massive tent hospitals -- this is a war of sorts and needs to be treated as such immediately.

Prisons populations should be a big concern right now. Imagine something really nasty going through the penal system.
That's a terrifying thought despite at this point being all too true. Medical professionals / police / fire fighters / the military knew what they were signing up for. No one getting a job at a grocery store thinks they're signing up to be faced with this.
