Since basically noone is going to be able to get tested for it in Houston I made this thread as a quick self help guide for people who are feeling ill and are wondering if they are infected. The proper is to ALWAYS speak to your doctor but here is some helpful info. Other things to consider is Allergy and Allergic asthma. Are you sneezing? Do you only cough with no fever, even low fever? Do you have a runny nose? Are you allergic? Then chances are it is something else. HOWEVER, you may be a part of the population that gets the mildest form of the covid-19. So always keep your distances from the elderly in your house. If your fever gets higher and you have breathing difficulties contact the CDC or your doctor because you may be in need of immediate medical assistance if it is the coronavirus. I am not a doctor or public health expert. I am just passing along the available information that I have access to. Take care and God bless us all.
I ended up with a sinus infection this week that I initially thought was a flu coming on. Doctor gave me some meds and feeling better. It sucks that our government has failed us. Richest nation in the world and our government has failed us.
I did too, kept checking my temperature every couple of hours for three or four days. When I never developed a fever I was reassured. But every time I coughed I felt like I was going to get lynched. Useful info for it's own thread at the top.
My temperatures were in the 99.2 - 99.5 range so I did get a low grade fever. Thankfully it went down.
I’m under 40 and am starting to feel a raspy dry throat. Hope it’s not it. Don’t want to be a carrier, at best...
Have had some pressure in my chest the last week. I feel cough-ish but haven't actually been coughing. Took a Xyrtec last night and feel a bit better. No fever - always in the 97s. So I think it's just allergies or something.
Stock up on Silver Solution. That guy is all kinds of weird, is there a televangelist that is not a complete scumbag?
98% of people who get the Covid-19 have fever. Unless you are a child or an extreme case, without having fever you don't have the covid-19. But you have to have a thermometer at hand, because the fever can be very low, recurring every few hours. That's why China told people in Wuhan to keep taking their temperature every few hours.
No, I'm saying that, whenever I'm in a public place and happen to sneeze because of allergies or get a runny nose and reach for a tissue, I get the evil eye from people haha
The french health ministry warns, in case you have mild symptoms of Covid-19. Do NOT take ibuprofen or cortizone for your fever but paracetamol. Ibuprofen can make your condition worse. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...ory-drugs-may-aggravate-coronavirus-infection
