    We've seen this movie before. Cases are going to spike over the weekend becusae that's what exponential growth means.

    This is going to get worse before it gets better.

    I'm getting tired of the Swine Flu comparison.

    Swine Flu was declared pandemic July 11th, and had a vaccine available in September, after the summer experienced a temporary retreat of cases.
    • The push was to get vaccinated!
    • They had 9,000,000 shots available at start of flu season in Sept,
    • then ramped up quickly to 40-50 million vaccines
    • And by September, they had already determined this was a weak flu...albeit, novel.
    • Some novel pandemic viruses are weak.
    and that was the lowest flu death year on recent record, because of the weakness and the vaccines.

    The good news:

    • trump declaring National Emergency. Now states can be creative with money.
    • Waves interest (not payments as I originally wrote) on college loans
    • Private companies step up their involvement
    • Dow goes up 1600
    Makes it easier to overlook the typical trump gaffs, attacks on Obama, "praise me" and "don't blame me"

    Note: I corrected the second bullet, thanks for someone pointing it out.
