Appreciate that but I will say this - I do not think I have coronavirus. Chances are it's another bug. That said, the inability to get a test is just crazy in my opinion. I have been through enough airports/airplanes in the last 4 weeks that it seems I should be tested.
Of course they do. How many people in the USA have died from the virus thus far? Their opinion may be different in a week, the number of fatalities may skyrocket but thus far out hundreds of millions of people in this country, very very few have actually died.
I agree but 2 weeks of pay to potentially half the country would be a crazy amount - hundreds of billions potentially for that alone. They were talking about $20-$50B packages, so I can't imagine that's in the discussions that Pelosi/Munchin are having right now? Hopefully I'm wrong.
CNN is reporting Brazil's president doesn't have it, FWIW. https://www.cnn.com/world/live-news...0-intl-hnk/h_bcca1e48439b7b564a81dfc3eb8d0bf7
Based on his facebook post, which is apparently based on his idiot son claiming that he had both a positive and a negative test.
I do not think it will change their opinion or support of Trump. Trump will likely blame others and the narrative will be that it wasn't his fault - how can you blame him for a virus? And then if he loses it will be because of the virus and the media blaming him for something out of his control. I guarantee you that no matter what, Trump will be the victim, never the incompetent fool we all know he is.
He probably has it already, most likely. His refusal to test for it, is just a denial to acknowledge. Once he's sick and in the hospital, he'll have to acknowledge. And the world will laugh.
This is absolutely nuts. 5 confirmed cases in Ohio, 100K suspected cases! https://www.foxnews.com/health/ohio-likely-has-100000-coronavirus-cases-top-health-official-says
Amazing how the same rough percentages always support trump, regardless of what and why. Two-thirds of Americans concerned about contracting coronavirus, as country grapples with growing crisis: POLL Unease over coronavirus also strongly breaks along partisan lines. https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/thi...us-country-grapples-growing/story?id=69557806
Probably because the bonehead has been talking about Coronavirus as a hoax. Um, not the bonehead at mar-a-lago, but the bonehead in Brazil...
My guess is that as the known case numbers skyrocket, and they will, and the cost of national lockdown becomes apparent, those numbers are a trailing indicator.
Seems like he is missing a great opportunity to help lessen the American public's fears and confusion about Coronavirus and how easy the treatment is. Instead the public is watching Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson.
It depends on how bad it is. If folks are getting sick and there are no tests, he will get blamed and that will even be by some Republicans. If it ends up being very mild in the USA then he will be championed for his leadership.
First, yes I think there is a good chance he has it.... he has been around several people that we know have it and he is an out of shape man in his 70's.... Second, there is no way in hell he hasn't been tested.... he has been for sure, likely every damn time he has to see or be around someone.
His base has shown remarkable loyalty to him. One thing I have learned, they will twist themselves to create whatever reality is necessary to blame others. Can you imagine @bigtexxx or @mick fry ever turning on Trump? I don't. Trump could launch a nuclear war and they'd still support him.
Doesn't look like there's much of a chance of this, sadly. I am not happy about Trump's presidency ending because his bungled response to a true existential crisis - it' s frankly the worst possible outcome for everybody.
