This is embarrassing. It makes my blood boil that he prefers to sell a narrative during this time. I don't wish bad on anyone, but it's really really tough with Trump being a total jackass that is in charge of leading a country with 300+ million people.
When they say things like this, who pays for this? Businesses are struggling with revenues because everything is shut down - they can't magically afford to pay 14 days of salary to workers that aren't working. And I can't imagine the government randomly paying people's salaries and all the problems that would cause (and how much that would cost).
Maybe they could apply for unemployment during that time. I read somewhere that's the plan for a lot of states.

The government can borrow for free right now - it's going to have to pay for this one way or another. Be it reimbursing sick leave or just giving people money
There’s still a chance that the two of you don’t have it, I certainly hope that’s the case, but you simply don’t know and it’s imperative that you find out. The response you are getting to not only a reasonable request, but a request in the best interests of the health of those you come in contact with and society in general illustrates perfectly the consequences of the breakdown in our response to the crisis that is the Coronavirus. The failure in our initial preparation, when the need to prepare was obvious as soon as the Chinese crisis and what they were experiencing was made known to the rest of the world, has multiplied the impact of the virus in our country. An impact that I am afraid will become all too apparent in the days and weeks ahead. Experts on pandemics we are certainly not without. Quite the contrary. We are a huge, wealthy country with medical treatment and research facilities that are the envy of most of the world, even if access to it is limited for so many of our own citizens. There is a long history of those with the means from other countries coming to cities like Houston to our superb Medical Center for treatment of a host of illnesses. What you two, and perhaps others you may have come in contact with, are experiencing is exactly what I fear will be multiplied by the millions in the not distant future. Very widespread and quick testing is the only way to find out who does or doesn’t have it in order to insure prompt treatment and prevent others, especially those most at risk, from getting the virus. Those who continue to dismiss the Coronavirus and think the worry is an absurd overreaction, who still believe what trump was spouting off for far too long like the ignorant fool that he is, need to wake up. This must be a maddening experience for you and your sister. Sorry if I vented my own frustration at the terrible leadership exhibited by the White House, when we have, or had in the case of the highest levels of our government, a host of good people eager to be allowed to do their jobs. The parallels of the trump White House with the initial Chinese government’s reaction to this are the height of irony, in my humble opinion. Good luck!
This post and reality is getting buried in the fog of war right now but literally going to facebook and fatty style pulling rando doctor input! Its awesome probably one of the more infuriating realities. Its ridiculous absolutely amazing on all levels. Would love to hear hannity and rush take on this one
