They found out there is community spread and are panicking trying to make up for lost time.

That’s a good deal. Does it include killing your parents and grandparents?

We were saying the chinese would have no option but coming back and watch the nba.
In the end the nba will be cancelled and we will be the ones watching the cba.

    I have no idea.

Mayor Sylvester Turner says by the end of the day he will sign a 7-day emergency health declaration for the City of Houston. He says the decision means there will be a limit on city-sponsored public gatherings. The Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo is directly impacted - the rest of the 2020 rodeo season has been canceled starting tonight.

The Tour de Houston scheduled to begin later this week has also been canceled. City produced or cosponsored events will be canceled, the mayor says.

He just said "Greater ability to manage resources, acquiring assets, hopefully getting federal assistance. Primary reason for emergency health declaration."

I think your Mayor is at least a little capable.
With the first sign of community spread he immediately cancelled a major event and will probably ban all public gatherings.
Maybe the schools will be closed as well.

In other areas there is widespread community spread and nothing is done.

It could be where HE was infected by someone else.

He is only 40 years old.
If he doesn't have a severe underlying condition to have developed severe pneumonia, his body could have been fighting this virus for much longer than the time it takes for a typical case (60s+) to end up with pneumonia in hospital.

Several people are locked in their apartments with the dead bodies of their family members and no funeral or country service is helping until the test results are confirmed.

Why are people stockpiling water? Because that's what they normally drink and don't want to run out during these next few months or because they think tap water will be contaminated with the virus?
