Bloomberg dropping out this morning feels like a death blow for Bernie.

Ya more than likely. Its is impossible for me to even imagine a type of person who would vote for Bloomberg and switch to Bernie in my head.

I think it's less about the Bloomberg voter base (sorry American Samoa), and more about the campaign infrastructure that now flows to Biden.

I know it’s early in the day, but you need a drink. That post is bizarre, with all due respect. Black Texans made up 21% of the Democratic vote and 60% of them voted for Joe Biden. I think most would find your post more than a little insulting. I posted those numbers late last night.

Desperate people can do desperate things, and Bernie is clearly desperate. Disappointing and unsurprising.

He got less support than last year. I think its that a lot of "undecided" voters who dont really show up to vote decided to vote Joe because of his name attachment to Obama.
Which you have given no evidence for, wether in basketball or politics dude, gotta do more than your eye test.

Does anyone here actually think Joe "I cant remember and i like touching women a lot" Biden is gonna beat Trump....you gotta be kidding me. Its not like he has a great political history either. Moderate?....he's a conservative Democrat.

And now you guys are comparing Bernie to Trump....maan. Sheesh, talk about an overreaction

That could be said about anything. To quote The Dude: “Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.”

If it had been Bernie winning most of the night Joe would not back down.

He'd talk about how Bernie is dangerous, not even a democrat, and that we can't afford to risk putting him up against Trump.

Bernie can still win this, of course he's still going to fight for it. There is nothing wrong with it, we shouldn't expect him to just bow out, especially not now. It's going to be a two person race. There's going to be some vicious things said.

I think there are probably more than most think.

Bloomberg is a bit of a maverick and lone wolf and Sanders is as well.

I know everyone counting on the Bloomberg votes going to Biden but I think a decent share will go to Trump and Sanders as well.

I have no idea why anyone thinking a "moderate" candidate would beat Trump, Joe is gonna get killed. And even if Biden gets elected he's not changing anything for anyone. Look at his history.

Biden has as good a chance of beating Trump as anyone else.

He is a moderate democrat but also is not a policy wonk and will shift if voters want or need him to shift.

His political history doesn't have to be great, it only needs to be clearly better than Trump and that is certainly the case.

Not many people are going to care about what he supported 30 years ago either, not to mention he has a history of admitting his mistakes, and fair or not, people give him the benefit of the doubt because of his personality.

The brilliance of Biden is that Trump cannot really say much about "touching women"... any flack he gets will be from the feminist community, and if they want to, they can find fault with any male candidate because he will in a world where women have been marginalized since the beginning of time.
