Were they expected to go undefeated? Why would they blow it up after 1 loss?

Lakers, Bucks, Rockets all have recent bad losses. It happens in an 82 game season. The top teams simply have fewer of them. The Rockets are on a pretty good pace. We will see how this experiment works come playoff time.

Media admitting that they create narratives.

    That's a start, admission.

    One loss could hardly blow out our confidence in micro ball and MDA;
but one loss more than enough alerting us our uncorrected old 'bad habit' lingering there.

Can it work?? Yes, I think it can work. I must admit, I was a doubter at first but it can work! You might think I'm crazy but I think the biggest problem for us winning a Championship this year is going to be MDA. He's his own worst enemy. His rotations will be his downfall. When you shorten your rotation playing small ball, your players will eventually lose their legs. They are exerting more energy on both ends of the floor.

I think you need to play at least nine players. I think Bruno needs to play behind Tucker and Green behind Covington!! This will lesson the burden on your front court players who are constantly banging against lager players. And Bruno brings too much of what's needed to NOT play him; DEFENSE AND REBOUNDS, which we could have used last night.

    STARTERS - BENCH

    Tucker - Bruno
    Covington - Green
    House - Green/EG
    Harden - EG
    Westbrook - Rivers

    T. Chandler is too old to garner minutes at this time and Hardenstein is not a fit

I am close to what you are saying with these few changes. We need to use the defense and rebounding of Carroll plus when the matchups call for it use Bruno. I am with you all the way about the minutes. Those decisions are critical to us keeping a decided advantage on both ends.
    Tucker - Carrol/Bruno
    Covington - Green
    House - B-Mac
    Harden - EG
    Westbrook - Rivers

Never underestimate the proclivity for the media and some in CF to cash it in when we lose to a scrub team.

The only concern is that lose the 2nd seed to Clippers at the end.

    homecourt?

I personally think losing one game by 2 on the road after a horrible shooting start, to an opponent greatly over-performing from three, is totally a reason to completely abandon the idea.
