Yea it sucks how one lousy game can erase the memories of the past 6 but there’s always just something to Rockets losses that really stink. we still have a better chance than we ever have with no golden state but damn this just ruined my week until Thursday. and I’m really bummed now scoring courtside seats for Sunday knowing they are on a back to back lol

Those were playoff games. This was a regular season game. As much complaining as we'll do over the next 24 hours / until the next game, this loss doesn't hurt like those losses.

The Rockets just don't get up for these teams. Considering that, it was especially impressive that they managed to come back against a team that, while bad, has strengths that put elbows right into the Rockets' weaknesses. Painful loss, no doubt, but the Rockets having like half their losses against sub-500 teams is fairly novel, and actually has me more optimistic about the playoffs than usual. This loss sucks just because of how close it was. If we lost by 20, we'd all shrug and say "well, they took the night off". They DID take [most of] the night off, and they still nearly won.
I'm sure they'll put on a show for you! This loss does suck, but I hope it's a needed slap in the face to prevent further trap game losses.
