Added a bit of CRL@155; price drop didn't make sense to me, if anything biz should be great with so companies rushing to trial new vaccines/ treatments. I hesitated when it was 150 last week, but decided to go in after latest analyst upgrades
You have to be careful. A bunch of companies rushed in to save the day with H1N1 vaccines in 2009, and when it ended up not being that big of a deal, they got stuck holding the bag.
Yeah, you want short term investment, unless they have other things, because it will dip for sure and fast
I've played around with RH in the past but not recently, what platform are you using? I mean there's a lot to choose from, but I wouldn't mind trying a few day trades..
I use Fidelity for long term then Robinhood and Webull for day trades. If you are going to day trade, make sure to $25k in it otherwise you can only make 3 day trades during a 5 day trading period. If you go over, you can be blocked from trading for 90 days.
Thanks for the heads up, when you've used Robinhood - from your experience how quickly was your order processed? I'm currently on Fidelity as well for long, but iirc sometimes there was a delay on Robinhood, this was forever ago, so was just curious. Obviously with it down earlier that's different but I just mean on a typical 25k account used for day trading etc.
Yep, that was bad. I have stocks on robinhood and TDA. So I snagged some more shares of Microsoft while it was low. Robinhood looks like it's down again today.
When RH is working properly the trades go through instantly in my experience. I have had instances where I bought a thousand shares of a stock for $x price and sold it a minute later when that price doubled.
Damn, how often do you set them and who are you placing them with? I mean site or a broker, sorry if I missed you mention that before. It sounds like you did good, I'm happy to hear that, I managed to at least stop bleeding
Haha, it depends, it definitely can make it more fun... If you're good. I'm more of a slow gainer not so much day trading (yet)
i bought it on robinhood. the option itself is doing well, but i got it to hedge my S&P500 mutual funds that i didn't want to sell. this is my first time dabbling in options. i've been waiting a long time for this bull run to hit a significant snag like this.
Perfect, thanks for heads up, I have options on RH available, but haven't done it yet (so glad to to hear about this looking good on RH), this looks like a decent chance to gain some ground if careful
