Some believe the virus was created in a Chinese lab. Does anybody think China would like nothing more to get Trump out of office? Could there be a motivation to intentionally spread it?
Good question. I do know Putin is spreading false rumours that it was the US that created the virus. You know the same Russia that some people on the right think is no threat to the US. Russian Disinformation is harmless right?
Wait don't change the subject yet. He has not refuted your point. He needs to post a study or what? How bouttt some concrete proof that this could be a huge problem? Or your gigantic statement that they are sensationalizing (like they do for everything) this... no sh*t. Such a joke
Temporarily hurts the global economy...and the strong economy is why the democrats' chances of winning in 2020 are low.
I have heard experts say that if the Covid-19 virus is not under control in the next few days, it is likely go pandemic. The project death rate right now is 2x of "normal" flu, though this is a soft number since some with light symptoms are not being counted as infected. I am not heard but suspect that Covid-19 is more contagious than normal flu. There is also some news that the incubation period for Covid-19 could be as log as 28 days. There are already cases outside of China where the doctors can not trace the patient back to the source of the infection. The 28 day incubation period makes this harder. This might add up to a very serious flu that is also very contagious and that is on the edge of becoming a pandemic. It is not time to panic yet, but it is time to pay close attention.
Sorry I should've said the number of deaths is far below the flu. That said while Covid-19 has a death rate of 2.3%. That still puts it far below SARS and MERS https://www.cnn.com/asia/live-news/coronavirus-outbreak-02-19-20-intl-hnk/index.html "Here's how deadly coronavirus is, according to Chinese health officials The Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention has calculated a case fatality rate of 2.3% for the novel coronavirus — meaning 2.3% of those known to be infected have died. Some context: This is higher than influenza, which may hover around 0.1% — but far lower than SARS (9.6%) and MERS (35%). And remember: International experts have cautioned that early numbers may not tell the whole story. Case fatality rates may come down as officials discover milder cases who don't seek medical care." The vast number of these deaths are in the PRC and at the moment Covid-19 while there has very very few deaths outside of the PRC. Again this is something to be concerned and pay attention to but I don't think it represents the apocalypse that some are making out to be.
I don't know about that. The way things are going Sanders is looking to be the other option, and I can guarantee you he is to the right of Trump on trade. Would not be good for the Chinese.
