@pgabriel did Russia use a disinformation campaign on the US? What was the purpose of them doing it?

It doesn't. We meddle in their elections. Its part of Putin's grudge against Hilary

No we don't. We don't do it in the same manner at all. We haven't. Please point to any examples that you believe showing us doing that.

I didn't claim that we didn't meddle in elections. I have previously cited examples where we have meddled. We have not done what Russia did, ever, and we didn't do it to Russia.

I don't understand this argument personally.

Ok, say we meddle in elections, does that mean we should accept it when it happens to us?

We bomb other countries, should we then accept other countries to bomb us on the basis of "We do it too." ?

Then why give false equivalences? Why down play what Russia is doing and attempting to do? Why?

Putin did not do it out of revenge or anger towards Clinton. He did/does it exert control over the world. He wants Russia to be the super power that it was during the Cold War. This nothing to do about revenge this is to do about power. You trying to twist this about Clinton is hogwash

Hilary Clinton was very critical of the openeness of the election that returned him to power.

Correct. If you have information share it. If you don't then stop acting like it was an equal exchange of interference.

Your effort to equate the meddling has been noted. Your employers would be proud.

But Clinton getting the IMF to release funds is above board. Changing policy to affect elections is above board. Creating fake accounts, attempting to hack into voter registration roles and election machines isn't the same. The U.S. has done many underhanded things during elections. That is true in South America and elsewhere. I've mentioned those before and that the U.S. is wrong for what it did.

It doesn't change what Russia did or make anything Russia did okay. It isn't one the same level as what Russia does. That is new and unprecedented. You can let your bosses know that.
