There's no conspiracy. It's merely preconceived biases. Don't become unhinged. News media has always prioritizing what they report hard on their biases. Stop pretending they are objective arbiters.
You are treating this as a simple arithmetic problem when this is a complex system of differential equations.
That is true but half the USA would be government employees and nearly 75% of the GDP would be collected by the government through taxes.
I think he was referring to this. "There's no dirt on Bernie so they leak the phantom Russia story." That's conspiracy stuff there. There are also "dirt" on Bernie that politically you can use to attack him, but the dem candidates haven't gone there. I don't think they would go there. These dem candidates have a line in the sand where the won't cross. Maybe Bloomberg would cross it, if he stay in (hopefully he drop off after tonight). But they will show up.. heck it will be twisted and fabricated using old videos and past history.
Bullsh@t. That's the facts and it is a fairly straight forward calculation which I'm almost positive you comprehend - You chose to disregard it for whatever reason - Just be clear on that reason and make us understand that its more important than the math. The US Government spent $4.45T last year which was 21% of GDP which was $21.429T last year. Bernie intends to add another 9-10T in additional spending. 10T is 46.6%GDP , 9T is 41.99% GDP. 13.45 T would equate to 62% GDP , 14.45T is 67.4% GDP. GDP is productivity. Without productivity you have no economy , no trade. The government produces Zilch. Without productivity the government has NOTHING TO TAX. And guess who the government spends all that money with …. Here's the top 100 government contractors. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_100_Contractors_of_the_U.S._federal_government I wonder how many Bernie supporters ever worked for themselves or ran a business …. or how many have degree's in economics / business cause they all ignore the math and try to tell me the principal is all that matters.
Productivity requires demand. What happens to consumer demand when no Americans are worried about filing bankruptcy because of medical bills? What happens to demand when millions of people don't have to worry about paying a 400 dollar a month loan payment for merely wanting higher education? Again, this is a dynamic system, not an arithmetic problem. Have any experience in dynamic system modeling?
70%, if you estimate on the high end for M4A, if you believe he will enact every single one of his policies. If Bernie drops the jobs guarantee that alone gets him below 60%, and if you use a more common estimation of M4A, it drops it to that 55% mark we were talking about. Now, Bernie isn't proposing to drop the job guarantee, so this is something I disagree with him on.
Bernies turnout with Latinos is eye opening and should get more notice. Turning out this demographic in AZ and Texas is a game changer for the party if it can be done. Everyone is kind of hand wringing right now. Especially in the media with CNN and MSNBC but I just don’t think this is the reality on the ground. He’s the one change candidate in this election and every time we have a change candidate who freaks out the corporate media it almost always turns into a powerhouse election win. I’m almost surely not voting for Bernie on the 3rd but I can see the freight train that has left the station. I think Trump should be much more worried than he obvious is. Bernie has the potential to win big. We’ll see though. Next month will be interesting.
I'm all for M4A along with the money for increased teacher pay in public schools and the general K-12 education money , infrastructure , and SSI expansion. Its the rest of that stuff - the jobs guarantee and the 20T on climate change , student loan forgiveness and free tuition , paid family leave , and the money going specifically to HBCU's and his housing plan . I cant get behind any of that. Its all a buncha freebies just to elicit votes even if it sounds good to a specific group of people. The things that I dislike most are the Jobs Guarantee and the Debt Forgiveness. (That's not to say climate change isn't important).
I love all of that, except for the job guarantee. But being pro M4A, increasing education funding, expanding SS, putting money into infrastructure is good common ground though.
it’s amazing, right? I thought “oh you won’t see any Democrats calling the intel a hoax.” Boy was I wrong. Humans gonna human. At least Bernie dealt with it head on.
It's interesting reading here and other places how it's an MSNBC and CNN conspiracy out to get Sanders yet a lot of what I've seen the last few days on those two networks is blasting Bloomberg. Ari Melber did a piece with grainy video from 11 years ago of Bloomberg calling a reporter a disgrace as he was walking away from the mic and accusing Bloomberg of Machievellian tactics.
I like Bernie but pretending that news about Russia trying to help him is some kind of coordinated effort between the deep state and MSM needs to stop now. It doesn't gain Bernie votes. It doesn't stop any leakage from his support. But the tinfoil hat conspiracy crap will drive away some voters and that hurts Bernie more than the story about Russia. The information which was about a briefing to congress was given to the media. It was newsworthy. It was released. It wasn't done with the intent of hurting someone.
You can understand people being skeptical. You have cable news tv hosts comparing Bernie's rise to Nazism.
Attack those hosts and that particular argument. Don't turn everything into a coordinated effort by groups from the federal government and news media outlets. I don't have any understanding of that at all. Those arguments are baseless and no better than pizzagate or any of the other right wing conspiracy theories we have seen trotted out by supporters of Trump.
Bernie Sanders and his surrogates deserve a lot of credit for his strong support in the Hispanic community. Sanders and his handlers are incredibly good at attention to detail and controlling their message. As someone that speaks Spanish and has a lot of first generation and second generation Hispanic friends; I can tell you Sanders has been pushed hard in Hispanic newspapers and media. Hispanics across the country have also been targeted individually. It is paying off for Sanders.
