It hasn’t JUST started. But it is getting more prevalent since social media evolved. Why do you think nations are pouring more resources to fight against aggression from Russia’s campaigns!

You how we get into stupid wars? Scaring citizens.

Nobody gave a damn about Putin before2016. I actually interviewed at the state owned Russian natural gas company in 2010. A Chinese former coworker got me the interview. They opened that office during Obama's term.

    Where does Putin get money?

Plenty of people cared about Putin before then. People weren't as worried because we had government that also cared and helped cripple their economy with sanctions. We had a government that was concerned with protecting us.

That is a stark contrast with what we have now.

If people walk across a high bridge they care about making it and not falling off. They make a bigger noise about it if the people in charge of the bridge's upkeep aren't denying the visibly weakened supports and decaying guard rails while firing the inspectors who's inspections show the flaws in bridge's support system.

I've explained how it can work. If you put your trust in adversary of the United States and the most dishonest president in our history rather than the intelligence agencies that have sworn to protect our interests, that's your call.

Bro stop with the trusting adversies weak ass argument. We have to deal with Russia regardless. Europe buys 30% of its natural gas from Putin. Until that stops nothing will but at the same time its just stupid endless war games that have been going on since the beginning of time.

Explain why governments around the world are concerned about Russia yet some of you on the right could care less?

it is telling that you believe it's weak to argue against trusting a nation that an adversary of the United States, that has been proven to have interfered in our election, and we have the intercepted communication of Puttin ordering the interference.

Your off topic comment about Russian oil in Europe has nothing to do with whether we should trust them over our own intelligence agencies.

The question is do you think Russia is a threat? If not why are whole nations mobilizing against Russian’s disinformation campaigns.

Do you think some fb ads are enough to swing an election? That's ignoring so much complexity and giving Clinton a free pass for her **** campaign and her being a **** person. And do you think people actually believed fb ads in large enough numbers? Can you even prove they interacted with those ads? Can you actually prove it mattered if they did? Can you read people's minds from that time and identity what was going on with their thought processes? You have speculation wrapped in assumption with more speculation sprinkled on top of the nothing burger. Stop giving Clinton a pass with this Russia nonsense. The sooner people hold her accountable and look at why the Dems lost, the sooner they can address those problems.

Again why are countries around the world mobilizing their resources to fight Russia’s actions? Explain that if it is a nothing burger.

My god people are we that tribal. We hide in our corners and refuse to admit threats to national security because it might weaken their side. Seriously country over party.

The United States has influenced foreign elections for years, in the sense of funding certain candidates they wanted to win. In fact, it's part of the reason for the initial crack epidemics and other drug issues.

What needs to happen, is Facebook needs to be clear of politics, and people need to become far better educated on politics (myself included), less lazy, and realize this kind of thing happens in the world.

And then, we need to have some kind of electronic voting system that is not tied to ant sort of internet.

There are certainly ways to get around this.
