I don't mind it the new rules, if the NFLPA accept it that is. I don't see why they won't, more money for them and they play the same amount of games basically. Seems like a win win for everyone. Win for the Owners as they always wanted more games. Win for the players as they play the same amount of games and get paid more. Win for the Fans as good teams won't get left out of the playoffs due to some team winning a bad division which happens every year.
