All of this comes the day after I was called crazy for suggesting Trump, Barr, and McConnell are not to be trusted in having the stomach for contesting the election in Nov. If you think they aren’t creative enough to find some Constitutional argument for doing what we all should be preparing for them to do, then you are a fool. Call me crazy all you want, but I continue to be right unfortunately that this is a regime that certainly believes it can establish a monarch in Trump, and forever make changes to permanently stifle non white male privilege for generations. Do Barr and McConnell believe it should be more subtle than Trump wants... probably, but it’s obvious at this point that ALL of them want the same thing... which is for Donald Trump to be above the law with Putin like powers so he can do what needs to be done to shape the country for many generations.
trump now bragging his attorney general is interfering in this case for his benefit. The illusion of an independent department of justice and judicial system is over. Its all an arm of the trump syndicate.
Clinton did the same thing with his brief interaction with Lync. A conv that no one heard was so horrible to the independent of the DOJ that Fox and MSM cover it as a hot story for days. Go do the they are the same thing spin. Now, it’s a meh. That should tell us all how far we have gone down the drain of executive overreach and of a DOJ that has lost independence. Barr is certainly outspoken about a king like executive so this isn’t a surprise. It’s all in the open people. Just open your eyes.
Wow... just a week ago, trump was acquitted by the United States senate of obstruction of justice and abuse of power. And within the past week, he has abused his power twice: (1) pushed his attorney general to interfere in the sentencing of a convicted felon who was a close friend and campaign adviser; (2) directed the retaliation against people that testified against him in his impeachment trial.
