Dude can put the ball in the basket. When hot he is a machine. None our players even get hot anymore. Vet min easy decision
Good thing I made a commitment this season to watch less Rockets games this year. It’s been good for my health.
I wouldn't have let that player even have a shot... he's been a clutch player in the past. Let Mitchell or Conley shoot a hesitation shot like that. But that's Houston sports curse too... maybe it didn't matter. Gobert would have probably hit it too.
We lose because we can't stop them and we keep bricking three. The team has to learn to Russ when your 3pt is not falling.
True, but I think the efficient playmaking / lack of turnovers makes up for that. Overall a very good game by him.
BMac is our best 3 point shooter this season at 38%. If you're going to chuck threes, he should have more than 5 attempts. I just don't get it.
He can easily take Macs minutes when he is bricking everything in sight. Or Rivers when he decides to pass up open shots. Hell give him Hardens minutes when he starts shooting us out of games. He can get minutes to see if he's got it or not on any given night.
LOL I'm not getting the optimism with this team. They're maddeningly inconsistent & have the weakest bench in the league, to top it off have the cheapest owner in the league that's mortgaged our future assets for tax savings & a coach that would rather eat glass than expand his rotation. Harden needs to find his GD shot for starters.
It's not that easy. Other teams prioritize him defensively and make it hard for him to get his shots off.
He was 11/23 from the field for 28 points with only one turnover and 10 assists and 10 turnovers.... and a couple blocks and a steal... this loss isn’t on him:
It's pretty embarrassing that Utah made the same number of threes as us in 4 fewer shots. Gordon not playing is a big deal but still... You would think with going small ball for 48 minutes that something like that would never happen. Our perimeter defense is still somehow this bad that we still don't have a math advantage.
Their odds is listed as either +1400 or +1600 For reference how unlikely that is, Cowboy Cerrone was a +350 beat Conor. In my view, anything that is less than 10% isn't probably or likely to happen.
Not saying it's on him, though his defense was very bad. Defense is why they lost. Didn't get stops the entire 2nd half.
