Then it sucks for him because Russ is the 5 when he is on court now.

I am not opposed to bolden. If he really has the hops and defensive instincts I've seen in highlights then he would be great.
This is an example of what happens when you just dominate. Buy outs and agents and ring chasers jump on your band wagon.

Why would Bolden sign here? Look what MDA has done with IHart. Look what Morey did with House. Morey usually sh!ts on the undercard and overpays the main-events. Bolden is not a main event talent and more than like would get the House/DMo treatment from management vs other teams because he doesn’t have to come here if there are other opportunities for him to find success.

If we claimed him off waivers he would have no choice. If he hits the market I think he looks at our system and sees the fit. 1. We shoot a lot of 3s, he is a big that can shoot the 3. 2. He is long and mobile, we need that to replace what we had in Clint. 3. He has no NBA job and we paying..

I guess we will see now.

Watching Hartenstein play last night just made me think of Bolden getting the ball up top and the defender sitting off him, maaaan he would be shooting all those 3s, or fake one and drive in. Thats a skill set we need in a big.

Yeah I don’t expect D’Antoni to be back next year at all. It’s probably going to be Ty Lue or someone like that.

Anyone have any familiarity with Dragan Bender? Only 22, 7 foot and a solid 3point shooter.

I like Bolden, MKG and Harkless more too but Dragan is intriguing from someone who isn’t familiar with why he hasn’t panned out. High shooting percentage and came into the league with switching defense as a strength.

yes he has playing very well in garbage time - aka most games this year and even managed to step in very well in place of Rolo.

It hurts that they have to waive him, they should have waived Sterling instead. After a couple of seasons under Bud, he would be a very capable Lopez replacement.

For the love of god, the Rockets shouldnt pick him up.
It will not work for anyone. MDA won't play him, he wont help the team, and it will also stunt his development. I hope he and his agents know better than that.

    Marvin gone
Harkless might right fit in w/ MDA system, check a few games of him 2018-2019 in Portland (dunt think his games in clippers are typical as reference)

Moe Harkless and Jonah Bolden are probably my top two choices at this point. Dragan Bender would be interesting as well. I guess I would not mind the Rockets taking a flier on Noah either. He can space the floor and he would only need to be on the floor for like 10-15 minutes a game as well. Add Jeff Green to that list as well.

I think he could take some of rivers and ben macs minutes if we get him.....he's good In transition and would be great to play with Westbrook. Plays good defense on perimeter for a guard....i actually think we matchup better with the clippers without him. they need him against us. adding morris helps them against the lakers, but just takes away minutes from jaymychal green. losing harkless makes their perimeter Defense and transition defense worse and will really force kawhi to guard the perimeter more instead of resting on defense against us.
