Ya, unfortunately Harden doesn't have any means to get open from off ball movement. He doesn't have the ability to run off screens and curls and pop open in other parts of the floor such as the elbow.

There are lots idiots still don’t understand why DMA doesn’t want to play Hartenstien. It’s not just about this small ball style. It’s about the player himself. Just check on every defensive possession and how he acted like a headless chicken even after a bshoot is up and never aware that he is the tallest guy on the team and at least to be in position to get a rebound. Even scrubs like Chinau or Rox legend Joey Dorsey played better defense than him.
We just don’t have consistent knock down shooters so many of these were open shots too. That’s why I was skeptical of this small ball thing.. Ok so we are 5/2 with it but it isn’t sustainable long term to my eyes... Suns aren’t a great defensive team and we got blown out ? Where was this great switching defense ??
