Being able to do the things you mentioned while being 6’9 250 certainly doesn’t hurt.

I dont see it that way.

For another, Clint did provide a last line of defense with his shot blocking with that team, along with CP with first line of defense and harassment.

What's similar is the defense from our wings but, IMO, still not as good the trio combo of Ariza+Luc+Tucker.

The weakest link on defense on that team was Harden with 4 other spots covered.

This team has two weak spots in Harden and RB.

If Morey could get both Marvin Williams and Kyle O’Quinn in the buyout market, that would be outstanding.

Yes, he would be much richer player if he wasn't so lazy.

He could be a bigger Tucker if he had just half his heart and hustle.

I do. Clint wasn't part of the small ball lineup that was killing GS. neither was luc.

    PJ/Harden/ariza/eg/cp3 was the death lineup

this has plenty of potential to be just as good with again more length. time will tell

It will get better, you will see.

This team is not finished being reconfigured yet.

Not really. That’s not his forte. But he can play the high post pretty well since he can make passes from there and has a decent jumper with some range to keep defenses honest.

I already said that this team needs another Covington like player to lock it down.

Sefolosha and House are fillers but not the answer.

I’d take MKG for his defense, but his lack of three-point shooting puts him behind Williams for me.

Barkleybwoukd have been our dunker and screener/diver when Russ sits.

Then he can move to perimeter and attack the open runway to rim, he had the ability to put ball on floor and take it coast to coast.

But if he was richer, less lazy, had more heart and hustle he also wouldn’t be readily available.

Let’s hope we can scoop him for cheap and get the aggressive/engaged KOQ

One thing that may get overlooked in all this, is how well we boxed out tonight, and the effort to go get rebounds.

if you’re going to play small, you better box out, and we did. Extremely proud of the effort tonight.

They boxed out for rebounds and adjusted and started rejecting post up attempts in the 4th. It’s like the Lakers got so confident that they could get the easy buckets that they turned the ball over when it mattered.

If you can maintain this type of rotation for the rest of the season I'd like you a lot.
