Rockets are back as a top-tier contending team

    All of the true Rockets fans were mesmerized by CP3 trade and losing a proven Rockets Gameplay that was shown vs one of the best teams ever in KD GSW.

    This gameplay and offensive and defensive principles are officially back.

    Just take a look at tonight’s first half and first halves of games 2-5 in last playoffs series vs Warriors and you’ll see a ton of similarities.

    This is basically the same game concepts.

    Rockets gameplay and style is already proven vs one of the greatest oppositions ever and now we have around two months to improve and to work on chemistry.

    If this basketball was working vs best team of this century it will be effective vs anybody among this season contenders, cause they’re no way close to KD Warriors on defensive, offensive and individual potential overall.

    No matter how this game will end up, we have a two month window to show consistency and improvement that will eventually be there just through practice and repetitions

    Yea I would assume we would be down double digits not because this style couldn’t work but because is the first time they play without a center and against a very tall opponent. We just missing a lot of shots. We could be up by 10 if we didn’t miss so many and some miscommunications too.

    lakers keeping up because they made 3 3s the last minute or so

    Robert Covington is twice the player that Clint Capela is.

    Massive upgrade. Would have been worth 2 1st rounders.

    the biggest team in the league had to force themselves to match up with the small team. leaving dwight and mcghee on the bench. that's what happens

    theres a lot to look forward to as this team gets more integrated

    But they were never top contending favorites when GSW had Durant or even pre-Durant.

    There is no top contending to get back to.

    You can be a trail blazer and blaze a trail to contention. ;)

    They are doubling tripling Harden now with no big man. The pick and roll is a big part of Harden's game and how he gets in rhythm. We need a proper capella replacement when Harden is on the floor.
