You are mixing passing ability with taking care of the ball. You can take care of the ball and be a poor passer. Just hold onto the ball. That will not get you high assist numbers like you said most guards could. Not many have Harden's skillset. Harden is a gifted passer and a willing passer but not great at taking care of the ball.
Give it a rest, will you? You've never got anything positive to say about Harden. It's like you hate him. Harden would be averaging way more assists if his teammates were more consistent with their shooting. You know damn well that's a fact.
This thread has everything you needed to know. It’s probably the same group of people laughing at Russ when he was averaging the triple double and beating Harden in the MVP race that year also.
Yes, there are also advanced stats that track secondary assists, potential assists and points created from assists. Player A: Secondary assists: 0.8 Potential assists: 8.4 Points created from assists: 12.6 Player B: Secondary assists: 1.0 Potential assists: 14.3 Points created from assists: 18.6 Hint: Player B is not Kemba
And somehow he’s led the league for 5 years in points per possession. I don’t even know if you watch the games because while it was true at one point I haven’t seen James dribble excessively like you make it seem.
It’s a little bit embarrassing for James Harden that he was selected in last round in 2 consecutive seasons. Come on this dude can average 35+ pts in 2 seasons. Show some respect! I want Harden fight back with his MVP performance, but considering his personality, I know maybe he doesn’t give a shiit.
Not really. Despite the amount of 3pt attempts we take, we're actually not a very good 3pt shooting team. Harden and Westbrook gets players open, especially Harden does from all the double teaming he gets.
The Rockets are in the middle of the pack in 3pt percentage from wide open looks according to NBA.com. Not great but not terrible. The Bucks and Packers have a lower 3pt percentage on wide open looks.
Seriously in world does Harden not give the vibe about caring for personal accolades such as MVP? The dude is known for playing games in the regular season when he's apparently hurt. He's known for playing in late game blowouts to pad numbers and he is known for personally advocating for his MVP case.
Giannis a selfish poser. James is one of the few real guys in the NBA . He’s got his flaws but ain’t afraid to be himself. Rest of these nba stars are p*****s who will do what it takes to be the media darling.
Also I think most people whose attacked Harden before or during this season on his efforts level should apologize to all the Harden fans. In the last game when the Rox played the Hornets, with less than 50 seconds left and the Rox were up by 15 points. Our great Bill Worrell mentioned this on the broadcast: why would we send Haden back on the floor, I am surprised. Well you know Bill was not surprised and we all expect what will happen. With less than 19 seconds ago, the Hornets got the ball, passed to a corner shooter and took a 3, Harden was standing right under the hoop, and also alertly checked if anyone from his backside will rush in to fight for the rebound, and all Harden’s teammates were heavily guarding the other Hornets around the key in case the6 will get the rebound and make a 15 point shoot. Unfortunately, that’s a long rebound and rolled to near the key, I have never seen Harden ran that hard to fight for a loose ball for rebound, however, Rivera got it. Shortly, you can see Rivers reactions: he wanted to kill himself for taking that rebound away. That’s the effort level and respects you get from your superstars with his teammates.
I was kind of hoping he wouldn’t even play although never goes all out in the ASG anyway, just wanted him to rest up but yeah he never passes the ball Giannis Wtf
Giannis does not care about MVP? Bron doesnt care about MVP??? Give it up chow, everyone knows you are a BS fan. You are ******** on a man who gives up his body so his team can win, and you turn it around to make it sound evil. You are trash.
